Sweet boy

Dave and I have throw blankets on the sofa downstairs when it gets cold, but they aren’t as comfy as the ones each of the kids have for winter.  While I was tucking Brandon in for sleep, I told him how Daddy likes his blanket and that he should be lucky to Through this it is evident that ayurveda approach of digestion explains cellular metabolism too. buying viagra in australia viagra on line australia Other product enhancers female libido offerings, however, address more than the vaginal dryness problem. Lego; Belated birthday for Poppa

Today, Kenny told us about the lego display at the local museum.  We’d taken Brandon there when Peyton was just born (I think that’s when we last went).  I don’t think he remembered, but nevertheless, we didn’t tell him where we were going.  When we got there, there was a line to get in and pay the nominal admission.  I don’t remember all the different aspects of the display from last time, but it was still pretty impressive the level of detail.  According to the flier, only about 5% of the display was made from pre-set kits.  The rest of it is made from their own minds, which is fascinating.  It was pretty cramped inside, and kids were supposed to stay with their parents.  We managed ours okay, but there were some unaccompanied kids who were pushing their way through.  I was carrying Peyton and was being bumped, which was pretty annoying.  There wasn’t much room to move around, so they were darting in and out and being unruly.  Brandon was fascinated by the Japanese battleship which took 3 years to construct.  It was particularly neat for him to see since we’d been giving him some lessons of WWII on our previous trip.  We meet up with the Chao’s after one loop, and returned back in line to go around with them again.  Brandon, who had already worn us down by his talking and pointing at all the things to see, had latched onto Kenny and Logan, while Dave and I walked through seeing things we hadn’t seen the first time.  Brandon was so excited to see all of the things.  After the second loop, we picked a restaurant and headed out.  While we were waiting there, I heard talking behind us, turned around, and saw the Kao family!  Dave had just asked me earlier if I’d wanted to try the hot cocoa Ted had had when they went on their ride yesterday!  We got seated shortly after saying hello. The restaurant was a bit busy, so I had Peyton on my lap for the first part of lunch.  After another patron left, we grabbed the chair for her, and we could tell she was getting tired.  She was lying down in her chair, and slumped over Dave.  She slowed down eating, and just looked tired.  She did sleep in her own bed all night long last night!!  Even though Dave thought she was coming in too early this morning and yelled at her to go back before I told him what time it was.  We headed up to my dad’s after, and we knew they’d Third, pfizer viagra price eat pumpkin seeds are conducive to ease the erection process. It was up on our old bar stools we have stored there, then ran down the hallway and looked between the slats to go downstairs.  He thought better of it, then my dad chased him out the front door.  I wondered if he had invited his friends over, and totally pictured my dad with a broom running around the house.  The squirrel had gotten into a bag of peanuts my dad eats during football games.  It was in a zipper lock bag, but he wasn’t sure if it was sealed all the way.  The bag was still intact, but there were nutshells all over the floor.  I couldn’t believe what I was hearing!  The squirrel sounded like he totally knew our floor plan, and acted like one of us would have!  Get food first, then say hi later…haha.  I didn’t want to stop by until I was assured he wasn’t still there.  The kids got their legos out and started playing with them in the kitchen. I told them to make sure they put them all away to make sure the squirrels don’t take them away.  They looked at me as if I were serious.  Maybe I am!  We headed out to grab dinner after the football game was done.  After he was done eating dinner, Brandon kept asking when we were going home.  It was about 630pm, and he asked several times.  We knew he was tired!  He took a bath, and then Dave was bathing Peyton and asked me where Brandon was.  I told him he was in bed, quietly waiting for his hug from Dave.  Both kids went down without a hitch.  And it’s only 9pm probably should turn in early too given the work week ahead.

Tight versus short; “I’m not your parent!”

Peyton was told to get up on her bed and wait (she was in trouble), and she was wearing jeans.  She told us, “No, I cannot, because my pants are too short.”  It didn’t make sense, but Dave was chuckling because he knew that she meant that her pants were too tight for her to get her leg up onto the bed.

Strange language

Peyton has developed her own modified words for common items. Instead of coins, she says, “Coinies.” Like, “Bruddah, do you have any Coinies” (or maybe it’s coin-ies) Singularly, it is coiny.  Not sure how it ended up that way, but it’s pretty consistent.  She also has this pad of paper we got at the art store. The sheets are about the size of monopoly money. A few were separated from the pad and have now become her “tickets”.  She carried them to dinner tonight and was the last to leave the table as some of her tickets had fallen on the ground and she was gathering them up.  She also asked Brandon, “Would you like any tickets?”  I’m not sure what the tickets are for, but she was adamant about having them.
We all went out for Bonnie’s birthday tonight, and each kid meal came with an ice cream for dessert.  The server brought out and distributed one for Marcus, Mckayla, Brandon, Ashlyn, and Logan, all while Peyton was following him with her eyes. She looked a bit concerned she might not get one, but he set the last one in front of her.  It was too late however, as the adults noticed and laughed.  Hearing the laughter, she buried her face in her hands and buried that into my arm.  I then knew what was coming, as I felt wetness on my arm.  Yep, meltdown. I had to force a bite under the tears in order for her to re-surface. Even then, I ended up picking her up to calm her down. She eventually calmed down and didn’t waste a bit of it! Brandon did well, answering the question, “Would you like vanilla, strawberry or chocolate?” with a simple, “Yes.”  He did finally choose strawberry.  Peyton had vanilla.  Dave and I shared a chocolate mousse, and Brandon wanted to know what it tasted like. Julie asked if the chocolate bottom was cookie or brownie like.  Brandon, who had only gotten mousse the first bit, wanted to try the bottom to weigh in his answer.  After giving him some, he answered, “Yeah, like cookie.” He also told us there were pieces of ice in his ice cream. That is Dave’s son, as Dave disapproves of icy ice cream as well.  Peyton and Mckayla sat next to each other and I think there was more interaction than our last dinner.  She still needed some time to warm up, as she scooted her chair toward me the first half of dinner.  I just realized she wasn’t in a high chair! Yet another perk of being three!  A bit disjointed on sequence of events, but blogging on the iPad in between games, so please excuse ;).

“Lazy” Saturday morning

Peyton got up again last night, at about the same time – 330am!  I put her back down, and she stayed.  We woke up to hear Brandon calling “Daddy” at about 6am.  Dave knew right away why he was calling – Peyton was in his room.  He got up and sure enough, she was in there.  He turned off Brandon’s light and all was quiet until Peyton came in when her alarm went off.  She rolled around for another hour before Dave decided to get up.  I didn’t get up until about 9am, at which time, I left for my 10K run (according to the schedule).  They were going to go to the Farmer’s market, but Peyton was acting up.  She was in a time out when I left.  Dave told me he wasn’t going to go because of her actions, but secretly I knew he’d cave eventually.  My plan was to run to the middle school, then do laps there.  The first 1K is just to the school, and I was going to run another 8k, then run back.  But I was running low on battery, so I just stayed the entire time at the school It normally takes six cialis for order to twelve months to see some results; to some individuals, they do not even realize that it is a homeopathic product. Opinionated

I had a pair of sweats on to sleep last night.  Peyton saw them this morning, and said, “Ewwww, gross!”  I wondered what she was pointing to (realizing it was me), and she said, “I don’t like the stripe.  It’s gross!”  They employ staff and have overheads for running retail outlets. vardenafil cost Targeted especially to those parts of the body such as conjunctivitis, arthritis prescription for ordering viagra and other lesions. Bon Voyage

We had a going away party for Theresa, who is technically already gone, but we wanted to celebrate her future anyways.  So, I got to go out sans kids!  Thanks to Dave, who came home and tagged me out. When he got home, he found us sitting around our table playing the game Bonnie got us for Christmas.  It’s great, except that Peyton is a sore loser.  I won the first game, and she came up with 4 out of 6 penguins.  She kept pointing to the 5th and 6th slots and then started knocking over the existing penguins.  She started to cry and cry, while Brandon just looked at her.  He used to be that way too, but he’s since gotten over that.  He just told her we could play again.  So we did.  She cleaned herself up, and we did it again.  Brandon won the second game, and Peyton started to cry again.  A little less, but still.  By this time, Dave came home and the kids were done.  We What is the reason behind not having a firm erection while making love buy viagra nichestlouis.com with her. 3 year old appointment; Sleep disturbances

Today, Peyton and I dropped Brandon off at school and stayed for flag salute.  She did a good job being quiet, whispering to me when she had questions.  I think she stayed quieter than Brandon!  I just didn’t want her to be a distraction, and she did okay, except she was a bit cold (as was I).  I couldn’t feel my toes after we were done, and I was wearing sneakers!  We went to KP for her appointment, and normally, we drive right by, but today, I pulled into the parking lot.  As I was doing this, Peyton said, “Dude, where are you going?”  She knew where we were going, but still, she asked me.  We were also on the bluetooth with my mom, and she told my mom “Going to get shots for Mommy and me.”  I told her it was just her, and that I wouldn’t be getting shots.  She then corrected herself, and said, “Going to get shots for me.”  She was so upbeat when she said it!  Brandon would have been crying even before we left the house!!  She was a trooper, and didn’t mind at all.  We checked in, and got into the room pretty quickly.  We brought her big Ariel doll to help keep her busy so she didn’t touch everything in the waiting area.  Also, we were going to use the doll for Dr C to practice on before examining Peyton.  It worked with a stuffed dog we brought for Brandon one year, so I figured we’d do the same.  It worked and she sat nicely in the waiting area with me with minimal touching of anything else.  She took off her shoes for her weight and then stood nicely for her height.  They took her blood pressure and she stayed nice and still while the cuff inflated.  I told her, like I tell my patients, “Don’t talk or move while it’s being taken.  Stay nice and still.”  And she did!  We went back to the room, and she was given a book of her very own to take home!  That was great, because we read that while we waited for Dr C.  She didn’t make us wait as long as we’ve waited in the past. But this did give us some time to pose for some photos.  Here’s Peyton rockin’ the gown they gave us for her!  At first she didn’t want to put it on. Maybe some kind of PTSD from when she was younger and in the hospital.

Dr C came in and Peyton stopped talking.  Of course.  She did let her look at Ariel and then at her.  She sat still for the heart and lungs, but wasn’t able to give a big deep breath as asked of her.  She let her look in her orifices without complaint.  Dr C said she was being very cooperative.  Then Dr C said, “I presume she has no speech problems.”  I laughed and said she did not.  Even though that wasn’t evident during the exam.  Dr C told us we did need a shot but that there was a change in procedure.  Instead of going to the injection clinic, the nurses were going to come to us!  Awesome!  Saves us so much time!  They did come in right away, and the nurse asked if I wanted it in her arm or leg.  I asked Peyton directly, and she was shy, but stuck her left leg out and said, “This one.”  So we pulled her pants down, and the nurse got ready.  She told her it would be a little poke, and it would only hurt for a little bit.  Peyton proceeded to watch her inject, and then gave a little squeal/whine, but never fully cried.  The nurse asked me if Peyton was my first.  I told her she wasn’t, and that I had a almost 6 year old who would never had done as well.  She said, “Oh, she would have cried?”  I said, “No, it’s a he.”  She said, “That’s why, because he’s a he.  We girls are tough.”  Haha…totally true in our case.  The nurse gave us a sticker for Brandon and two for Peyton for being so brave. After the nurse left, I helped her with her pants, and she said, “Oh, this one…” and pointed to the bandage trash.  She wanted to clean up the exam room!  How thoughtful.  Even after being shot in the leg.

We went to visit Auntie Julie, and Peyton got her birthday present.  We basically forced it upon her and made her open it up.  Secretly, she LOVED it!  But she didn’t let anyone know. That’s how she rolls.  It’s a princess dress up doll with magnetized pieces.  We chatted a bit, then headed to school.  She was very upset at school, and even cried as I was leaving.  Total departure from her normal routine, as it was 1030am by now.  The teachers said on her report that she needed more love today.  Ms Tarez saw her riding a bike, and normally Peyton won’t talk to her, but will smile.  Today, she did not smile, and rode away and looked as if she had a little tear in her eye.  I told her the background, and then she thought that was probably it.  Poor thing.

Ever since her return to her own bed, Peyton has been waking up over night.  She will listen and go back eventually.  Like last night, we threatened to take Daddy’s blanket away, and she went to go get it and show it to me, all while crying.  I told her she could keep it if she left and went to sleep.  So she returned.  I was up for just 5 minutes, but I’m so not used to it anymore, and this is happening day after day all week, and I’m tired!  One night, she grabbed my hand like I was on my deathbed.  She rubbed it up against her hand, squeezed it, and smelled it.  It was a bit stalker-esque, the way she was holding my hand.  Maybe that’s how she got the scratch on her forehead – against my ring.  Hmm…I didn’t even think of that until now.  Poor kid!  I think she just misses us (me) at night, but still…GO TO SLEEP!!  We’ll see how she does tonight.  She’ll probably do better since it’s the weekend and she knows I can sleep in…haha…

Games they play; Grown up talk

The nice thing about siblings is that some of the time they play nicely with each other and keep each other entertained.  Here is a sample of some of the games the kids have created on their own, like their own secret code.
Peyton: Okay, you say yes and I’ll say no, ready?
Brandon: Ready.  Yyyesss!
Peyton: Nnnnooooo!
Brandon: Yessss!! (repeat several times, ending in laughter with both)
Peyton: Okay, now I say yes and you say no, okay?
Brandon: Okay.  Yes.
(Dave and I look at each other with NO clue…wondering how this all started in the first place.)

Second “language” game they like is just this, “HANDS ARE……. STICKY!!!!”  They will both repeat it over and over and just laugh with each other.  I do enjoy when they are being silly with each other, even if it only lasts a little while.  Sigh…

Peyton and I were eating dinner together while the boys were at swim class, when she just said, “It’s just you and me, Mommy!”  Every Tuesday and Thursday, it’s just us eating together.  The last two days, I’ve motivated her to eat so we can bathe and leave enough time for Kinect.  Otherwise, if it’s too late, she just has to go to bed.  Brandon brought a book home to read from their library.  It’s about pythons, and I was reading it, showing Peyton.  She saw one picture of the snake up close and she said, “Eww, that is so gross!”  She sounded so teenager when she said it!! And sooooo girly.
