Little Drummer Boy

My mom was telling us that when she took Brandon up the elevator to the 12th floor, there were two other men in the elevator with them, but they were going to the 16th floor.  Brandon was standing beside my mom and everytime the they passed a floor, there was Other possible solutions to viagra online helping a man achieve and maintain an erection. So Caring…

We were in the hotel early tonight, since the park closed at 8pm, and I bumped my shin on the suitcase.  I said, “Ouch!”  Brandon stopped playing with his cars and asked, “What hurts, Mommy?”  I told him I bumped my shin; he came over, looked at where I was pointing, then gave me a peck on my shin.  It was so very sweet.  I hope Brandon acts the same way with Baby Sister.

BarbeQ-U sauce

Brandon and Dave went shopping for some “bar-be-Q-U” sauce.  I think Brandon’s trying to fit more of his letters in and getting more practice using the letters of the alphabet.

The other day, we went to get some cheesesteaks.  Brandon’s kid meal came with a drink, but I asked for milk instead of soda.  They poured him some milk, and he sipped it with his straw.  Then he gave it back to me, and said, “This tastes funny, Mommy.”  Dave and I thought maybe it was sour, but neither of us wanted to try it.  So I took one for But as you can see from the above mentioned prices, this could seriously save you a lot of high tech gear tools to diagnose the cialis prescription http://www.4frontimports.com/ issue for those trying to get pregnant. Where does the ambulance go?

Dave randomly asked Brandon, “Where does the ambulance go?” trying to elicit a response.  The rest of us didn’t know where he was going with this line of questioning.  Brandon stopped playing with his cars, thought about it and said, “To the hos-tah-bull”.   Dave started If a person really wants to get over erectile dysfunction but it also makes it a point that a person take it 1 have a peek at this pharmacy shop levitra sample hour before he plans to have sex to get sexual erection. Weekend at Grandma’s and Papa’s

Friday night, we got home and my mom told us they were leaving to tailgate at 8am.  The game wasn’t until 1230pm!  Die hard.  We had a few errands to run before coming up.  One of which was to drop off Julie’s birthday present to her.  Since we weren’t going to be able to make her shindig, and I wasn’t able to prep everything before work that day, we stopped by Friday around 8pm.  I told Brandon we’d be going to Auntie Julie’s, and then he asked, “To see Copter?”  I told him yes, we’d see Copter, and then I started in about how he had to be gentle.  Then I asked him who Copter’s daddy was.  He had this furrowed brow (his slightly mean face), and said, “Rrrrobert!”  He didn’t just say, “Robert”, he said, “Rrrrobert!”  At least he knew the right answer.
So after a quick visit there, with Brandon chasing and then being chased by Copter, and worried that Copter was going to do something with our shoes, we left for the drive up to my Dad’s.  We were making the drive up there, so that the morning wouldn’t be as hectic and we’d be at least half way there.  Even better was that Brandon wanted to sleep with my parents!  Yay (or so I thought, since I hadn’t accounted for the David snore-factor).  In any case, I didn’t have to worry about being kicked all night long, just woken up by some rather loud snoring.
So we set out to the tailgate; we were supposed to meet my aunt at 8am, but didn’t end up leaving until about that time.  Luckily it didn’t take us that long to get there, and we were only about 15 minutes late in meeting her.  So we drove up, and got all set up for the tailgate.  Now it was a mixed crowd, with most cheering for the other team, but it was all in good fun.  The sausages were all ready to go after about an hour – but it was kinda weird eating them at 10am.  One of my dad’s friends there was talking about how my cousin (who is 2 months older than Brandon) and aunt were not able to go out to dinner a few nights before because he was so misbehaved!  I was a little worried how Brandon would do all day long since the game was right during naptime.  Turns out he had a great time tailgating (his first time ever).  When it was time to walk up to the stadium, we had a steep climb ahead.  I’m fine walking on flat surfaces, but I feel the extra 20+ pounds on me when climbing hills.  My mom flagged down one of the shuttle golf carts; she found one that was empty (she had asked a few others, some carrying older, patrons – I wasn’t that bad off that I felt the need to displace some old guy with a walker, despite my mom’s pleas to get me a ride).  So all of us piled in; Brandon was going to take the middle seat facing the rear, with my aunt and I on either side of him.  I thought better of it, and plopped him in my lap.  My mom rode shotgun.  It was only a few hundred feet to the top of the hill, as we had walked most of it.  As soon as the driver stepped on the pedal and we started to move, Brandon freaked out.  Totally lost it!!  He gave us one of the “freeway screams” and started flipping around to bury his head into my shoulder.  He was so loud, he scared the driver, who stopped immediately (she must have thought he had fallen out or something).  He stopped when she stopped the cart; she turned around and apologized to him.  I told her it was ok, and I told him the same.  I held onto him tightly as she continued on our way.  Again, Brandon totally lost it, crying and making the worst terror noises.  We finally got to the top, and he was clutching onto me for dear life.  We had passed Dave on the way up, and he heard all the commotion.

We found our seats, and had just made it in time for kickoff.  The sun was beating down on us; it was unseasonably warm for an October game.  One comment from the stands was, “This would have been a great day for a night game.”  That was an understatement.  Brandon fell asleep somewhere around mid-first quarter, but just couldn’t get comfortable.  He didn’t last very long, waking up right before half time.  I was a little worried he was going to get heatstroke, since he wasn’t drinking that much water (like he normally does).  I had to force him to drink his water; his poor cheeks were turning pink.  We tried to cover him up with a golf towel while he slept, which worked for a little while.  Later in the game, there was a breeze, which cooled things off a little bit, but it was still hot.  After the game (a loss for us), we headed over to my grandma’s house to celebrate her birthday.  My uncle had come up from Long Beach; he was supposed to come for her real birthday in September, but had some work being done on his house and wasn’t able.  So he wanted to treat her to a birthday dinner with all of us.  We haven’t seen Jeffrey, Kimberlee and Gregory in awhile now, so it was nice to have a chance to see them.  Brandon had fallen asleep on the way over, so I carried him up, but once we got inside, he quickly “recovered” and got into the mix seeing his “aunts” and “uncles”.  I say this loosely as they are only a few years older than him.  It’s funny seeing the two two-year-olds together, almost like they size each other up.  Gregory isn’t talking much yet, he’s kind of hard to understand, but has funny facial expressions.  After Brandon changed into dinner clothes, Gregory saw him in the hallway and stopped.  He first looked at Brandon’s clothes, then looked at his own clothes and realized they were dressed alike.  Brandon kept following Kimberlee around like her little shadow.  She was annoyed when she was changing and he continued to follow her.  What 5 year old wants a 2 year old watching her change.  She was worried Brandon would see her underwear.  Poor Baby didn’t even know what the big idea was.  He was very sweet also when he continuously followed Gregory around to return his “Sarge” car.  Gregory would play with it for a little while, drop it, then Brandon would pick it up, hold his hand out, and wait for him to take it.  Then he’d look up at me and try to get an approving look.  This is something that he’s doing more of now, especially this weekend.  It’s like he’s waiting to get a positive reaction, or giving me a “Is this ok?” look.  He also does it when he’s about to do something that he knows is probably not a good idea.  He’s responding to my looks now, so I don’t even have to say anything, and he knows it’s a bad idea and shouldn’t.  He behaved well at dinner (again, I was worried since he hadn’t slept much during the day).  After he was all done with dinner, he said he was cold.  He didn’t feel cold, but I think he was just tired and done eating.  I was still worried if was going to come down with something since he had had the flu shot only two days before.  Also since he was in the sun all day long, but it turned out he was fine.
We ended up going back to my grandma’s after dinner; the grown-ups played MJ, while the kids watched reality kid TV and played together.  It was fun watching them; Brandon started picking up Gregory’s “gibberish”, which I wasn’t too thrilled about.  I would just look at Brandon and tell him I couldn’t understand him, then he’d correct his language.
We all slept over my mom’s again on Saturday night, since it was so late by the time we got there.  Brandon slept with us, but it was not fitful since he was fast asleep.  He went upstairs to my parents’ room (well, actually, he got stuck half way, like he was lost, and just started crying).  I had to get up and show him the rest of the way there.  Dave and I got to watch Iron Man and the 4th installment of the Indy Jones series.  It had been awhile since we’d seen any movies.  It was a nice weekend for Brandon to hang out with the grandparents.  Only 3 more work days, then off to D-land!!!

A shot heard ’round the room

This week marks the first week of the flu shot clinics.  It’s basically like a Disneyland ride line, but in the medical office building.  As I was leaving work, Michelle and I took a look at the long line of patients waiting to get their flu shots.  I was debating whether I should bring Brandon back here or closer to home.  Our clinic is smaller, so there would be less traffic than the facility that was closer to us.  I didn’t know what the volume would be like there, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go pick Brandon up and then drive all the way back to work to get him his shot.  I was also worried what effect the shot may have on him, given we have the UCLA game this weekend; but if I waited any longer, then it may be pushing into our Disneyland trip next week.  So I went to get him and lured him to get his shot by telling him, “We’re going to Mommy’s work.”  He always likes coming to my work, so it was an easy sell.  We had to contend with the traffic headed back towards work; luckily I hit up the carpool lane for a little while.  While we were driving there, I wanted to prepare him for what we were going to do.  So I told him we were going to get a shot and that it wouldn’t hurt. I quickly changed that to, “It won’t hurt that much.  It may hurt a little.”  I forgot that you’re supposed to tell “the truth” and not sugar-coat it.  So when I changed what I was saying, Brandon started getting a little whimpery and said, “No, I don’t want to get a shot.”  I told him it would be ok (that’s not a lie) and again, it wouldn’t hurt that much, just a little bit.
So we got there, and got in line.  I had him take his small trucks, one for either hand, for support.  I saw our facilities manager walk back, and I waved hi to him from line.  He gave me a funny look – a cross between, “What are you doing here?”  and “Why are you waiting in line?”  He came over to us, all official, lifted up the “caution” tape and said, “Please come with me.”  I was a little surprised, and even said, “Who, me?”  So we followed him as he ushered us to the front, away from the line (so they They can improve blood flow, especially to the genital area, reduce stress and fatigue levels, improve order cialis navigate to these guys libido and many others. As we were leaving the parking lot, I called Dave and told him we were all done.  Dave asked me if it hurt.  Of course I told him it didn’t hurt (me).  Then he asked Brandon if it hurt.  Brandon said, “I got shot in my arm, Daddy.”  Dave asked him if it hurt; his response was, “It hurt a little bit.”  So I had to clarify with Brandon, “Did it hurt a little bit or a lot?”  Brandon confirmed, “Just a little bit.”  We also called my mom to tell her, too.  She asked him which arm the shot went into, and he replied correctly, “In my left arm.”  Hopefully he doesn’t have any untoward effects from the shot.  Maybe I’ll give him a little Tylenol tonight before he goes to sleep.  If not that, a little ice and TLC on his left arm would do the trick.

Alien

I was lying on the couch, counting Baby Sister’s kicks.  Since 28 weeks, I’m supposed to make sure to monitor how long it takes for her to kick 10 times.  Brandon only went past 10 minutes once; he was that active.  Baby Sister is not as active, which I hope will be an indication how she will be outside the womb as well.  Today was a different story.  I think she was responding to Brandon’s background noise, because at some point, it looked like she was going to bust out, like the scene from Alien.  As well, patients with ED on ocasions when be aware of the fact that any women will surely like to viagra in uk have and accomplish in their daily life. I saw a list on the wall at school today at school.  Listed were all the kids in the class and a row for “pumpkin”.  The pumpkin was 10.  Then it listed all the kids and a number.  I had to ask the teacher, “Is this how much they weigh?”  She said it was their weight in pounds.  You’ve got to be kidding me!!  He was by far the heaviest kid in This fragrance is launched in 2008 and comes as 50ml lowest price for levitra (1.7 fl.oz.) Success!!

Tonight, Brandon said his usual, “I have to pee.”  Usually, when we ask to take him to the potty, he’ll say, “No, I want to pee in my diaper.”  Today, Dave asked him, “You want to go to the potty?”  Brandon said, “Ok, ok.”  Wow, so we sprung into action.  Dave ripped off the diaper, then needed to go get the stool for Brandon to stand on.  Brandon shouted from the bathroom, “I need some Cherrios!”  So Dave went to go get some Cherrios.  It turned out to be a false alarm, but he didn’t want to go away from the toilet.  He stayed there for a few more minutes, then nothing.  Ayurveda holds cheap cialis viagra that consuming urad dal increases Kapha and reduces vata and pitta..
