Not sure why Peyton was shy around the dog, she was looking forward to it last weekend! The older girls had a soccer tournament which ran late, so they weren’t able to pick us up last week. She didn’t want to hold the leash, but she petted her when we got home. Brandon was already told he had to stay behind, in case he was asked. He didn’t end up coming out until after we got home. He and Dave came out to say hi. They headed home after dropping us back off, and then we came in to practice piano. She sat down and said, “Phew, I’m sweaty from walking!” Both rushed through piano, and didn’t mess around so that they could have enough time to finish up the lego movie that they’d started yesterday.
