So, we’ve instituted “prize coupons” to mirror Brandon’s homework coupons that he’s supposed to work on over the summer. The coupons for homework were given by his teacher, while I made up our own prize coupons to encourage good behavior throughout the day. Given he almost drowned last week at swimming because was too busy talking to the next boy in class, Brandon was told he could pick a coupon if he listened to his swim coach for the entire lesson. We watched him from afar, and he was doing so much better this week. I guess he doesn’t want to drown! It definitely helped that the other boy that he was talking to last week and said “he was funny” wasn’t there! So there were only three kids in class, and he was kicking hard, and making progress through the pool. He was kicking and making it almost half of the width of the pool. I was watching him so much, I wasn’t even watching Peyton! That is, until the Hovercraft lady was standing in my way again. We were sitting on the kids’ towels, and she stands RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. Peyton is being “naughty” because she is not listening to her coach either. Well, she’s just more EAGER than anything. Her class also had only 3 kids in it today, and she had 2 teachers. After we got home, both kids bathed, and then Dave took Brandon and some homework to work, while Peyton and I went to the Farmer’s market. So we came home before Brandon and Dave.  I was just getting her in the bath when they came in.  He was goofy and silly, and he was ready for bed.  Dave had posted a picture of him passed out on the bench on the ferry.
