Birthday dinner, New songs, Competitive

Today, I picked up Peyton, then we headed home to go potty and what not. We turned around to go get Dave. It was too much time to hang out by the train if we went directly there. He had taken his car in for an oil change. I dropped them all off at the dealership, then he and the kids went home while I headed to dinner with Tracy. It was great catching up with a good friend (and former roommate), and sharing vacation stories and food. I got to enjoy fries without the look of hungry eyes staring me down! We even split a dessert! We headed home about 930pm.

Peyton has two newer songs that are her favorites:
“Somebody that I used to know”

I’ve apparently been rubbing off on both kids, as when they get into the house, they both race to kick off their shoes. Peyton will fly out of her shoes and say, “I win!” Today, she did win. She beat both of us (Brandon and me), and I had flip flops on! She is pretty fast when she wants to be. Dave said both kids did the same when they came home from the dealership. Both exclaimed, “I win!” but Dave said only Peyton did.
