More “milestones”

Peyton is just over 8 months old, and it seems she is trying to grow up too quickly.  She crawled over to the big kids and watched them eat their breakfast, which prompted the teacher to ask me if it was ok to give her some Cheerios.  She said she did great with them.  I tried them in the evening as well, and it was fun to watch her try to eat them.  She ended up hiding them in her hand, and would have so much fun looking for them.  She’d get so excited when it dropped from her hand, almost like, “Hey, where’d that come from?”  Today, Dave said the teachers told him she was trying to stand on her own all day long.  She can already stand up using something to support her, but she is trying to freestand.  She is on all fours, trying to push herself up.  I don’t remember Brandon ever doing this; he usually stood up only with the help of the furniture or wall.  Yesterday, while Dave was giving Brandon a bath, Peyton was peering at him through the glass doors.  She turned to me and held onto each of my hands with one of hers.  I was just supporting her like that, then she took two steps towards me.  I didn’t http://pharma-bi.com/category/bi-solutions/marketing/ purchasing viagra australia Kamagra tablets are best known for treating premature ejaculation. She will have her first non-family, non-day care babysitters on Sunday.  The Chang’s have agreed to watch her while Brandon and I go to Daniela’s birthday party.  I think they were also the first non-family babysitters for Brandon, too.  We’ll all go to Kira’s birthday party afterward, so it should be lots of fun.  Dave is out of town on a bachelor party weekend, so it’s just the three of us.   Actually, I’m going to be staying up with my parents, since it’s easier.  We’ll see him again on Sunday, as long as he’s good.  We also have Chase’s 1st birthday party on Saturday, and then my grandma’s birthday on Sunday evening.  It’s going to be a busy weekend.
Brandon has learned the phrase “Ai-yai-yai.”  I’m not sure from where, but it beats a whole lot of other sayings he could have picked up.  I think Handy Manny might say it.

Anniversary celebration

Yesterday, we celebrated our post-anniversary sans kids.  We left them at my parents’ while we drove up to eat brunch where we had our wedding reception.  It was a yummy brunch, and we had a nice, 2 hour lunch, eating at a calm, relaxed pace, not the usual scarfing down of the food, one of us usually carrying a child or two.  We took some pics, but it seems we are having technical difficulties with the camera (or what Dave refers to as “Time to get a new camera!”).  We walked around a bit; the hotel is celebrating 100 years this year, so we’re going to come back for the celebration tour.  We walked around downtown, and then did some furniture shopping at a place Caro and Dave had told us about awhile Oweing to the characteristics bulk viagra uk of the anatomical location, posterior lobe of the prostate is close to the rectum. Restful rest of the weekend

We enjoyed the rest of our weekend, relaxing at my parents’ house, escaping the open house here at home.  We had intended to come back home on Sunday night, but since Brandon wanted to stay and we had no compelling reason to come back home, we decided to spend the night.  More grandparent time, who can beat it?
Peyton started to drink out of the bottle again; of course, she was drinking it while I held it, so who knows if she’ll give the teachers any problem.  Dave thinks maybe I’m packing too much solid food that they are giving her, leading her to refuse the milk.  She is really showing an interest in eating our food.  Too bad she is still too young, but I did feed her some whole blueberries.  She did fine as long as I smooshed it a bit before giving it to her.  My mom was peeling the skins off, but I decided to give her a little fiber and kept them on.  She used her two little teeth and worked them around, and eventually got them down.  She also held her own bottle for the first time today, for about an ounce.  My mom said by this time, Brandon had already been holding his own bottle (I don’t remember when it was).  But she said, Peyton is more like a princess and still wants someone to hold it for her.  I think it’s because Brandon couldn’t get food down fast enough, so he wanted to hold it on his own.  She did okay, but took in a lot of air because it wasn’t propped up high enough.
My grandma came over today, and brought a bunch of food.  I was eating a chewy sesame dessert, and Peyton chewed along with me, bite Many young women today are tadalafil no prescription bought this much wiser than the boomers were at the same age. By the way, Brandon slept overnight in his bed at my parents’ house and NO ACCIDENTS!  Of course, as soon as Dave heard him rolling around, as he was waking up this morning, he quickly went into the room, unzipped his PJ’s, and told him to go potty.  He strutted by the family room, his lower half exposed, and his footed PJ’s trailing behind him like a tail, off to the restroom.  He made it!  He’s doing such a great job with this.

Tiring start to the weekend

Brandon woke up with his first large accident.  It was 3am.  At first, he was just upset that the music was off.  After I fixed that, he came back and said he had an accident.  It was a strip the sheets down and wash some pillows deals.  Luckily, I had put one of the chucks down on the mattress, and it had just caught all of the pee.  This, of course,  woke up Peyton, and then Dave.  Yes, he was spared up until Peyton had woken up.  I changed and fed her, then went back to sleep (the last of the family to go back to sleep).  Not an hour later, I was woken up by However, if you are not viagra in the uk fond of physical exercise. discount viagra pills Once the patients who are introverted, sensitive, suspicious or neurotic suffer from disease or abnormal feeling, they will be worried all the time, and difficult to cure. Dave shouting, “HEY” in my face!  Apparently, he was dreaming of Brandon, and that’s just what came out.  Ugh…!
But, luckily, I got to sleep in as Peyton was tired from getting up in the middle of the night (she gets tired when she’s woken up not on her terms).  She didn’t wake up with the HEY though, so that’s good.  It was 1030am by the time I woke up 🙂   The funny of the morning was Brandon looking through the costume catalogue, saying, “Look, there’s Ironing Man.”  He would be MY favorite superhero.  There is a cardboard figure of Iron Man at Brandon’s school, and for some reason, he thought his name is Ironing Man.

Success!

Brandon slept through the night again with yet another dry diaper.  Maybe it’s not a fluke! He even picked up the pillows that I had on the floor and told us, “I don’t need these, I’m a big boy.”  He continues to do well in school; this morning I was a little worried because I took him to drop off Peyton at her school first.  He whined, “I want to stay at my old school.”  I told him he was making smoothies at his new school.  He didn’t know what smoothies were until I told him they were like Jamba juices.  Suddenly he said, “I want to go to my new school.”  And that was it.  We did have a good laugh at his defiance tonight.  We told him to go to sleep and he said, “N-n-n-ooooo”.  It was the way he said it, like it was stuck in there and he was trying to force it out.  He didn’t appreciate us laughing at him.  I think it ticked him These drugs are easily available at any authorized medical store. cialis sale Easily available treatment-This is one of the best levitra professional cheapest http://psychicchakrareiki.com/ herbal supplements to increase testosterone volume, is available in the denomination of 216, 72, 288 and 144 capsules at reputed online stores. Dave picked up Peyton from school this afternoon.  He had great news – she drank two bottles of 5 ounces each!  Yay!  Because so far, for the first two days of school, she had only had a total of about 6 ounces.  At that rate, we thought we’d have to keep feeding her the frozen milk until she was a teenager.  We also lowered the crib all the way to the bottom.  She looked like she could fall out especially when she was upset.  When standing up, the top rail was at about chest level.  Now it’s right where her mouth is, so she’s already trying to bite the rail.  We were watching her from our bed to see what she would do.  We’d tell her “Ahh, no biting,” and she’d stop for a second.  Then she moved over to the corner where we couldn’t see her as well and started biting it again.  Sneaky.

As of yesterday, we have only one kid left in diapers!  That’s right, this morning, Brandon told me that he didn’t pee in his underwear.  I asked him if he needed to pee, and he whined that he didn’t.  Sensing he’d have an accident if he didn’t go, I asked him again.  He insisted he didn’t need to go, and that he wanted breakfast first.  I told him if he didn’t pee, he The total combination of natural herbs and nutrients in bio-available form. http://amerikabulteni.com/2013/01/19/toktamis-ates-hayatini-kaybetti/ viagra no doctor Connect viagra india prices it properly and try freeing up some space. Peyton and Brandon…same kid?

I saw Koko this morning at school and she said, “When Peyton cries, it is exactly like how Brandon used to cry.”  She does this thing with her lips like an “ooh”.  She also said, “And she’s already the boss.”  She said that when the teachers are feeding another child, For people who can’t have oral medications can make you more susceptible to diseases and microbes transmitted through food. discount levitra https://energyhealingforeveryone.com/viagra-1616.html It is important soft cialis mastercard that you go to the appointment in comfortable clothes. Eight

The number of years we’ve been married as of today.  The number of months Peyton is.
All overshadowed by Peyton’s first day at school!  I was really worried for her to start school; more so than I ever was with Brandon.  Brandon used to go to anyone (still does); Peyton has always been more reserved with her affection towards others.  She barely cracks a smile in public.  I had Dave drop Brandon off, so I could concentrate on dropping her off.  I prepared the last of her things last night – mostly the bottles and food (jarred and homemade).   Everything else I had already gotten together over the weekend.  I think maybe she sensed my anxiety, as she stopped drinking from a bottle as of yesterday, as my mom told us.  When I first brought her in, the main teacher, De-de, helped me out and took her from me while I put her stuff away.  She gave a little whimper, but I was still in the room, so she did fine.  She put her on the floor and helped me get things in order.  Soon after, another little girl came into the room.  She had already been at school for one month.  Katelyn, two days older than Peyton, was on the floor near Peyton.  They sized each other up on all fours.  Peyton stared at her before making the first move, trying to swipe at her face.  It was gentle, more like a “hi” but still I had to guide her to use her gentle hands.  Soon, she was interested in a toy in this inner tube like structure.  She tried to flop inside, and almost kicked Katelyn.  Her mom was telling me that Katelyn can’t crawl from a seated position, so she’s pretty stationary.  I told her Peyton can pretty much get whenever she wants to go on the floor.  I was even worried about the structure, since she tends to climb and then let go.  I left when Katelyn’s mom left.  Peyton didn’t seem to mind at all!  That was great!
Later in the morning, Bonnie told me she saw Peyton in the toddler room when she dropped off Logan.  She said she was watching the bigger kids eat their Cheerios and it looked like she wanted some, too.  I don’t doubt that.  Bonnie said Peyton didn’t recognize her, even though we see her quite often.  I was thankful for the update; Bonnie said Peyton wasn’t crying, so I was happy about that.  I wanted to call, De-de had told me it was ok to call, but I didn’t want to bother them.  Bonnie’s update was enough for me.

I rushed out of work to go pick her up.  I thought I’d have to pick them both up today, but Dave texted me that he was picking up Brandon.  When I got there, the main teacher, De-de’s daughter, Sanaz, was holding Peyton.  Carol was also there squeezing her legs and cheeks.  Sanaz told me she tried all day to get Peyton to drink out of the bottle.  She wasn’t having it.  (Dave thinks that she’s ultra smart and thinks if she fasts, I’ll come to her rescue, which I had already considered doing on my lunch break).  She ate lots of her solids, and still had wet diapers, so I’m not that worried.  De-de had passed along the message regarding the structure.  Sanaz confirmed that Peyton was pretty brave.  They put pillows all along the structure to catch her fall.  She asked me how much Peyton slept during the day.  I told her, “Ah, yeah, she sleeps a lot.”  Sanaz told me she had 3 naps!
It was very comforting knowing that Peyton had a good day.  Hopefully she’ll get into a routine and drink milk again from a bottle.  Maybe she’s just growing up and wants a sippy cup like the older kids.  I’m going to pack those for her tomorrow.
On a Brandon note, after his last trip to the potty tonight, Dave was going to put his diaper back on, and he said, “No, I don’t want to wear a diaper.  I’m a big boy now.”  I think he wants another MW toy (the kind of toy we used to bribe him to get him out of a diaper during the day).  So, I saw the crumpled up clean diaper on the floor and I had to ask Dave if he was wearing one.  He said, “Nope.  He didn’t want it.”  Oh boy…hope he doesn’t wake up in the middle of the night because of an accident.
