“Are you kidding me?”

Somehow Brandon has started saying this.  Maybe he picked it up from something I said?  I don’t remember, but it is funny when I hear it come out of his mouth.   For instance, a 75 years old man is unable to gulp down the lowest price for tadalafil pill. Quite a Scare!

We were headed out after dinner to do some shopping for some upcoming baby showers.  As we were leaving, I noticed that Peyton’s pants were turned around.  It must have happened at daycare.  So we started changing her in the elevator, on the way to the garage.  We reached the ground floor, but we hadn’t finished changing her pants.  Brandon jumped out ahead, and we stayed behind, letting the door close behind us.  Suddenly, Brandon freaked out and came back to the door.   We pulled up Peyton’s pants, and felt a little jerk at the door.  We pushed the arrow button to open the door, and the door didn’t open.  I pushed the buttons over and over.  Brandon started crying.  It was a blood-curdling cry.  It was his pained cry; I haven’t heard it much in his lifetime.  Our first thought was that his hand got stuck in the door.  The way he was crying – I started to panic.  I hit the “HELP” button, and got the operator on the phone right away.  Brandon was hysterical, which was driving me crazy inside the elevator.  I told the operator that our 3-year-old was stuck outside, and we thought his fingers may be stuck in the elevator.  Dave was trying his hardest to pry the door open.  There was maybe a half-inch gap that he got the tips of his fingers in.    I was talking (okay, maybe shouting?) with the operator while Peyton was calmly watching the entire drama unfold.  Brandon kept screaming, “MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMMM-EEEEEE!!!”  It was heart-wrenching, and I couldn’t do anything about it.  I told him to try to press the button.  The operator said he may not be able to reach the button.  She could not remotely open the doors.   Then Dave started grimacing, and I thought he had gotten his fingers stuck when the door closed again.  He just lost his grip on the door, and it closed again.  More crying from Brandon.  Finally, Dave said, “Brandon, listen to me.  Brandon, is your hand stuck in the door?”  Brandon stopped crying suddenly, and said, “No.  No it isn’t.”  I breathed a sigh of relief, but wasn’t quite sure he wasn’t stuck.  We asked him again, and he said his arm wasn’t stuck.  Then he sounded like he was getting fainter, like he was going somewhere.  We didn’t want him to leave the area, because on the other side of the door was the rest of the garage, which was equally dangerous.  The operator said she would call the fire department.  She had to get some specifics – like where we were located (address), which elevator we were stuck in, and what floor.  Somehow I was able to answer all the questions.  Then, all of a sudden, the doors opened on their own.  I ran over to Brandon and picked up his hands.  They were all red, and I asked him again if his hands were stuck in the door.  I think they were red from trying to open the door from the outside.
He started crying again, more out of relief than anything.  I just gave him a tight squeeze.  I didn’t want to let him go.  Even while we went shopping, he was telling us, “Daddy, don’t do that again.”  I wasn’t sure what he meant.  He said, “Don’t change Baby Sister’s pants in the elevator.”  Until he said that, I had forgotten why Brandon had gotten out of the elevator first.  It was because we were stuck changing her pants that he jumped out first, and left us behind.  It was a good lesson to teach him to stay with us at all times.  We did our shopping, and as we were waiting for the elevator, I asked him to show me where he was.  He did, and I asked him why he didn’t push the UP button.  He said, “I did; many, many, many times.”  Peyton had pulled her socks and shoes off in the car and had one in each hand.  Brandon looked up at me and said, “Don’t put those on her now.”  When the door opened, he ran across the door, and turned around to make sure we were there, too.  As I’m typing this, he was telling me, “Don’t let Daddy do it again, never ever.  Remember to tell him, Mommy, okay?  Okay, Mommy?  Tell him, ‘Don’t do that.'”  Still referring to the pants.    Both Dave and I need a stiff cocktail, while we unwind from all the excitement.

Brandon is learning the sounds that letters make and is practicing them wherever we go.  In the car, he says, “Mommy, Truck starts with the letter, ‘T’.”  “Tah-tah, that’s the letter T.”  Then, he’ll say, “Mommy starts with the letter ‘M’.  Mmmmm.”  We also start to spell out the words, sounding out each letter.  Sometimes, we hear him sounding out stuff to himself.  He’ll read signs or car names to himself in the backseat.  He’ll be reading in no time!  Well, probably not, but we can’t get away with spelling things out so much anymore.

Once bitten…Sleep is gooood

Yesterday, after I had picked Brandon up, I got a call (on speakerphone) while driving back.  It was Peyton’s teacher.  Dave had picked her up already, and Mollie forgot to tell him that Peyton had gotten bitten on her hand.  She said she cried a little, and there was a little mark on her hand.  After some love and a little ice, she was okay.  After I hung up, Brandon wanted to know what happened and if she was okay.  I’m glad he was so concerned.  When we got home, she was her usual self, happy to see us.  I tried to look at her hand, and only saw a little For this reason cialis online aimhousepatong.com Erectile dysfunction is a nightmare of men’s sexual drive. This morning, Dave was getting ready to leave and woke me up to sign something.  The sun was already up, and I couldn’t believe it!  It was 7am, and I had slept soundly all night long, as had both kids!  Brandon came in right after 7am, and had to go pee.  What a great night!  Somehow I’m still tired today.  I think it’s because it’s the end of the week, and I decided to come to work today.  Let’s hope for a repeat performance tomorrow, since it’s Saturday.

H1N1

While driving in to school today, Brandon asked me, “Mommy, what’s H-1-N-1?”  A sign of the times.  I asked him where he had learned that from.  He said, “From the hospital.”  Funny, we hadn’t been to the hospital in two weeks.  I thought maybe they were talking about it at school.  Everyone seems to be talking about it these days.  He may have picked it up from all the talk about the vaccine.  He did receive the vaccine.  It gave me a chance to talk about how important washing your hands and NOT picking up things off the floor to stick in his mouth.  Ick.  I did tell him how it was something that can make people, especially little kids, sick.  He told me he didn’t Few side effects are diarrhea, vomiting, headache, nausea, fatigue, vision blur, nasal congestion etc. daveywavey.tv side effects for cialis Treatments are all based on the cause of the problem experienced by men. daveywavey.tv viagra online samples Supplements contain high amount of vitamins discount levitra and also have enzymes that increases the blood circulation and you can expect to enjoy a long life. Last night was another night for us to let Peyton cry it out.  It only lasted a few minutes after I got one of her soft play toys.  Once I threw that in the crib, there was silence.  She was content to play with the pink little kitty (my mom gave this to her since it was pink and she didn’t like that she only had Brandon’s blue rattle toy to play with).  She woke up around 1am, but it felt like so much later in the morning.  I was happy to see it was only 1am, since I was able to enjoy another 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep before being awakened again at 6am.  Gotta love it when the clocks change.

Sharing?

On Saturday, we were going up to my parents’ house, but they weren’t going to be there.  Brandon was sorting out some candy, and said, “This one is for Papa, and this one is for Grandma.  I’m going to share with them.”  As soon as I said how nice that was, he turned around and said, “And since they are so happy The medicine was introduced in 1998 and its best viagra price popularity skyrocketed as the first remedy for erectile dysfunction, normally identified as impotence.
