Good Deeds

This year, like the last two, we had Brandon pick out a toy that we would be donating to those who aren’t as fortunate.  This time, we decided to get Peyton involved.  Brandon picked out a toy, and we selected for Peyton.  We went to the mall and saw the firefighters in front of a booth, right in front of the Lego store.  We handed Brandon the toy we had brought, and told him to go over to the man to give it to him.  He dutifully did as we had asked.  We had carried Peyton in, so we set her down, and gave her her present to take over.  We told her to follow Brother and go give the man the toy.  She walked a few steps, holding the present, then stopped.  I thought she was getting cold In such difficult situations, people generally prescription cialis opt to use alcohol as an ultimate remedy, hoping it will uplift their mood and help them feel better. Echo

Peyton has taken to being our little echo.  It’s funny when she tries to repeat Brandon.  Even funnier when she repeats me, talking to Brandon.  It goes something like, “Don’t talk back, Bruddah. No talk back.”  Our one year old is mothering our four year old.
Brandon did well saying goodbye to Dave today.  I had him in bed by 7pm (his normal bedtime is 8pm).  Too bad it just meant that he was lying around for another 1.5 hours.  He didn’t really get to sleep These medicines can help you restore your head cialis online pharmacy of hair for the time being, and then sometime in the near future, stem cell cures for baldness will likely be available and will probably be the permanent answer for curing baldness once and for all. Christmas spirit

Today, we decided to check out a street that is totally decorated with lights.  We were on our way this evening, when Brandon said, “Awww, there’s a peace sign that has lights.”  Dave asked him what peace was.  He knows the symbol, but didn’t really know what it meant.  After telling us he didn’t know, Dave said, “It means: No fighting.”  Brandon thought about it, while Peyton chimed in with, “Everybody’s blocks!”  Haha, that’s her concept of “no fighting”.  It would be nice if everyone shared 🙂   We walked up and down the two block strip on this one street, and it is so amazing how many lights are strung up.  Dave is still trying to figure out how to make our house more festive for next year.  Brandon was weighing in with his thoughts on lights and how he thought they should work.  We’ll see what they come up with next year.  Peyton may have more of an opinion by next year, I’m sure.
Through the blocks that Peyton was referring above, she is learning her colors.  At first, Dave thought she was blue-green colorblind.  I had to break it to him I didn’t think that existed.  She has a preference for purple.  Actually, Dave was able to get her to put all 60 blocks in the bag herself by calling out colors and having her put them back.  She really had fun doing this, and was learning at the same time.  Excellent!  While we were driving back from the light show, Brandon asked me, “What’s your favorite color?”  I told him I liked blue.  Then he asked Peyton, “What’s your favorite color, Peyton?”  She answered, “Geen.”  (green without the “r”).
We went back to my parents house for dinner, and Peyton found my mom’s lipstick in her purse.  With the cap on, she rubbed it on her mouth.  My mom made it easier for her and got her the pocket mirror that she had with the lipstick.  She was really getting into it, even trying to put it on the rest of her face.  I told Dave that we should just take off the top and let her go for it.  My mom was the first to disagree.  Dave thinks she’ll figure out how to take it off by herself.  It’s funny that she knew what to do with the lipstick.  I don’t wear it that much.

Then Brandon gave her choices of singers.  He asked her, “Do you want me to sing Taylor Swift, Josh Groban, or Katy Perry?”  Peyton said, “Bruno Mars.”  Brandon started laughing, and said, “NOOOO…I don’t know all the words.”  He was holding up a box and pretending that was their TV and trying to sing songs that they had been listening to during the day.  They were totally keeping each other entertained, and it was funny to see what they were coming up with to do so.  At least it kept them both up, so we could put them to bed properly and not have them get a second wind.  It backfired a little bit, since we had had late naps.  Brandon came out around 930pm with both pant legs pushed up and both sleeves pulled back, saying that he was hot.  Dave said it was funny even though he was not supposed to come out.

(Wo)Man up

While we were at My Gym (according to Brandon, it’s Me Gi-mah), Brandon was doing a flip on the high (not that high) bar.  He was very proud of himself, whipping himself around.  I was with Peyton, but watching Brandon from afar, thinking not good things were going to come out of this.  Sure enough, he slipped off the bar, landed on his bottom, and his momentum carried him backward, hitting his head on the padded bench used to get up on the bar, a la Greg Louganis’ injury to the back of his head.  The bench slipped back and he continued onto the floor.  Ernie was the first on the scene, comforting Brandon.  Dave and I were snickering, thinking that he totally deserved it and that he had hurt his pride more than his head.  Were we cruel or just trying to man him up a bit?  I learned on Friday that one of the moms helps her daughter change her clothes every night.  I told her we’ve been making Brandon do it on his own every since Peyton was born.  She has only one child, which she admitted she needed to get her to The reason it has increased in popularity over time is because people get viagra online have started to realize the magical changes in his sexual capability and strength. Today she told me, “No more owies.  No owies.”  I hope that is the case.  I am wearing another world series shirt, this time in gray.  I asked her “What does my shirt say?”  She looked at me, and I got nothing.  Then she went back to playing with her blocks.  I came out again, and she said, “GO GIANTS!”  Dave laughed at the delay.  Both of them are in their Sue Sylvester outfits today.  I’ll have to take a pic and post.  It’s a rainy day today, so we’re looking for something to do to keep them entertained.

Quite a day

Today started out with my dad’s company party at the horse races.  We’ve never been before, but we had lunch and enjoyed the horses from the warmth of the luxury boxes.  Unlike at other sporting events, this was completely enclosed by glass, so there was no fear of kids falling overboard.  I had had this as a concern as I didn’t know the layout.  We were all newbies so it took a little bit of orientation, but there were beginner’s guides and all the staff was helpful.  Dave started out placing bets, while I waited to figure out more how it all worked.  Turned out that we were all given $10 to play with, on the company.  That got people into the betting spirit!  At first, we started picking by horse name, then started to put more thought into the odds.  Dave encouraged me to take a “daily double”, which is like a parlay in other sports betting – you need to pick two winners in back-to-back races.  There were 9 races in total for the day.  The 5th race was dedicated to the company, so it had the company name on the billing.  It also allowed us to go to the field level.  We were going to take a group photo with the winning jockey, but since the race is so short, we got to watch the entire race from ground level.  We also got lucky because the starting gate was very close to the finish line, right where we were.  We got so close, we saw one jockey who had fallen off (the first time it had happened in the day) and got to see the disappointment in his face.  The jockey who had won ended up being the most winning jockey in all of North America!  He also helped me win, since this was part two of my parlay bet!  $22.80 won!  (So I netted $20.80, since it was a $2 bet).  A win, especially since I got screwed on the holiday gift exchange this year.  I got a “fancy” business card holder.  Ehh…not the cooking store gift certificate that Dave got.
After the horses, we headed out to Andrew’s 2nd birthday party. We’d had yet to meet Andrew, since it was so difficult to coordinate both families.  It was being held at a little gym, and Brandon cruised right in, even though we were 45 minutes late.  Peyton didn’t want to do anything.  She had just woken up, and needed some thawing out time.  She got along with the birthday boy, and ended up following him around.  She was slightly taller than him.  One of Dave’s other friends had a 6 year old, and he wanted to size Brandon up to her.  She was still a bit shorter than Brandon.  He enjoyed ziplining, while Peyton did NOT want to go in the bucket that was attached to the zipline for the little kids.  We stayed until the party wrapped up. Most were headed over to pizza, but we headed back towards home to attend my uncle’s birthday party at a restaurant that should have been 45 minutes away.  We would have made it in plenty of time if not for all the traffic, mostly the rain affecting people’s ability to drive.  Luckily, we called ahead and ordered via my mom.  We didn’t have to wait long, which was good because Peyton was at the end of her rope.  She has definitely hit her “Terrible Two’s”.  Her terrible two’s seem to be worse than Brandon’s.  Well, mostly because his did not start until he was three.  But she is seeming to throw more tantrums, and likes to throw stuff when she gets mad.  Not good.  She only ate one rib, and refused the rest of the food.  She had eaten a lot of veggies and pasta at lunch, and hadn’t relieved herself, so maybe that was the reason for the lack of appetite.  She fell asleep again on the car ride home, making it her third nap of the day (she had napped on the way to the horses).  She stayed asleep even after we brought her into house.  Brandon ate his entire rib plate (minus the one rib Peyton ate) and his sweet potato.  He had already had dessert at lunch, and politely declined my dad’s offer for dessert.  He is learning and making good choices!

Using her words

It’s been drizzling here for the last day or so.  It’s a constant stream, but nothing too crazy.  This morning, we were headed out to Peyton’s school first as Brandon and I had a field trip to go to.  I wasn’t out of our driveway, when I heard “Coze weendo.”  Huh??  She said it again and was pointing up at something.  I asked Brandon if he knew what she was talking about.  He didn’t.  She kept repeating it, and it wasn’t until I really looked at where she was pointing that I understood.  I had mistakenly hit the automatic window button on her door, and the window was down just a crack.  I hadn’t noticed, and it must have happened right They prevent the major mastercard cialis online actions of histamine – a mediator released by the body during an allergic reaction. At Dave’s holiday party, we took home two of the stuffed animals from the crane machine.  I was going to get two different ones, but the reindeer ones were a hot commodity.  I decided against different ones as I didn’t want to invite sibling rivalry.  They were cute – a teddy bear with a santa hat.  Peyton has become territorial, pointing at either of them and saying, “My teh-bear.”  They have been “exchanging” toys with one another.  Usually, it ends up that Peyton has both teddy bears, and then Brandon has something that she is willing to trade, so she forks one over.

Breakfast chatter

This morning, both kids got off to a late start.  I had everything ready for them for breakfast.  For Brandon, I put milk in a cup, so he could pour it into his cereal that was already scooped out in his bowl.  I went in to wake him up, and helped him get changed (he usually does it by himself, but I could tell since he was so sleepy, that it would take him longer if unassisted).  After I got him situated with his clothes, I sent him downstairs to eat his breakfast, while I went in to get Peyton ready.  Brandon got downstairs and asked me to get him some nuts to add to his cereal.  I had left those out of the bowl, and it is normally routine to throw in some of the walnuts, cranberries and almond mixture I have.  I told him that I was getting Peyton ready, and he would have to just keep eating, and when I was done, I’d come help him.  A few minutes passed, and it was just too quiet down there.  I yelled down to him, “Brandon, how are you doing with your breakfast?”  He said, “Um, not good.  I’m So enjoy full sexual pleasure with your wife, then you can communicate your feelings with your partner to get rid of male impotence. free viagra canada Hesitate and reluctant for such relationship in women is a common issue and many discounts on cialis more like this which can be easily treated through right consultancy by sexologist in Delhi or all over the world. She still hadn’t finished her breakfast by the time she got to her school.  I sat her down and she continued to eat one bite at a time, not even caring that I was leaving.

Early to bed

We’ve been pretty busy, and the kids have probably stayed up later than they should have the last few nights.  I can tell because they don’t get up in the morning.  I went to wake Brandon up at 7am this morning, and he said, “Nooo.  I want to sleep more.”  We can also tell they need more sleep because of the crying after school.  Peyton started throwing food and spilled Brandon’s water, so Dave got stern with her and brought her to the corner.  She slipped and fell back on her head, bonking (only slightly) it on the floor.  She started to grab her head and said, “Oh, my head!”  She rubbed it a bit, but stood facing the corner, still crying.  We turned around from addressing One of those health problems cialis online sales is erectile dysfunction or impotency.
