Yesterday on the way to CDC, I’d told Brandon the weekly plan, namely practice Monday night, and the field trip on Tuesday. I received texts during the day about their outing. Dave wanted me to pick Peyton up and meet them there. He actually was thinking, after he’d arrived, that he should’ve kept Peyton home to take her with him! He’d already upgraded Brandon’s ticket to turn it into a season pass, and his ticket was already a season pass. He wanted me to get ourselves there, since we’re so close from Peyton’s school/work. But as I thought more about it, I didn’t have proper clothing and I wasn’t mentally ready for the park. If I’d had more preparation, I would have considered it. I told him I’d meet them at home, and I went to get Peyton and headed that way. It was such a busy day at work, and I’d been dreading it since last night, when I was tossing and turning. We’ll have to go back eventually, and make use of Dave’s pass that he got. He said that in 30 minutes, he and Brandon rode 3 rides. Brandon can ride on anything now, and he’s not afraid of anything now. He even can do spinning rides, which Dave sat out and didn’t ride! They came home, and Brandon looked completely exhausted. Both were in bed relatively early tonight, especially compared to the previous nights. Hopefully this means the return of our routine.
