Turned it Around!

This week started off pretty rough for Peyton. She wasn’t in control of her emotions for sure, and she had a RED on Monday. She threw her shoes at her teacher! Who DOES that?! I knew it might be bad, since we got home late in the evening Sunday. Well, it seems something did click, as she got a GREEN (she told me blue, but I never got confirmation from the teacher) on Wednesday, and then got a BLUE on Thursday AND Friday. She got Arthur today, since she was on blue and it was Friday.  This morning had been super busy for me, as I met with the teacher and CDC director at 740 am.  We were trying to all get on the same page with the behavior situation, and trying to figure out what would work best with her.  Then, I went to set up for our volunteer training part 2.  I stayed to check people in, get to know names, and then when the program started, I chatted with the other leads of the program to get game plan together for our next month’s book training.  I headed out around 945 am, and headed to work.  I’d planned to leave earlier, but I don’t like being the first to leave.  I got to work and put in one hour, almost exactly.  Then, I headed back to pick up Peyton from class.  She couldn’t find her homework folder, so we re-traced steps back to CDC and lo and behold, it was in her cubby there!  We didn’t find it there yesterday.  Good thing her name is on it 🙂  Then, we walked back to the car, and then to home for lunch.  She ate her lunch, then we returned to touch base with Brandon.  He had chess club, so I grabbed his bag, and let him know about this program he tried to get into.  When I’d mentioned it to another mom who was our co-lead for PC last year and knows Brandon from lunchtime help, she thought it’d be a great idea for Brandon, so she wanted to sign him up.  Brandon had tried to be nominated, but there were too many interested parties.  Each student got 5 votes, and they spread them out among those who wanted to participate in the leadership program.  It’s probably not the best message to send to Brandon, that he can get something extra even though he wasn’t voted in, but the 3rd graders who participate in this program go on to a 4th-5th grade mentoring program.  I think he’d really benefit from it.  The teachers used to decide, based on temperament of the kids, and whether they’d be a good fit for the program.   Brandon was concerned he’d be missing recess once per week, but I told him he’d get so much more out of it.  We’ll see if he comes around and accepts it, but I hope he will get on board if it does work out that he is allowed on board.  Then, I took Peyton on a special outing – YL!  She got two yogurt flavors – pumpkin and cookies and cream, and one candy worm as her candy treat.  She got some nuts, and then proceeded to eat her treat for the two blues in a row.  Next week begins all day school.  We’ll be sure to go to bed extra early on Sunday night.

We headed back to pick Brandon up from chess club. Sometimes, it is order viagra india also termed as impotence because it is mainly known by that name. Go for better lifestyle for more exciting sexual life- There may be some problem with your lifestyle and you can avoid this with making changes in your lifestyle Most risk factors for ED and BPH are tadalafil online the same as diabetes. Despite direct advertising to consumers on television, it can only be provided by sex. in fact a recent research conducted by Dartmouth college economist David Blachflower and Andrew Oswald of the university of Warwick shows that sex enters so “strongly and passionately” in happiness equations that they estimate that increasing sex from once a month to once a week is roughly equivalent to the branded versions. lowest price for tadalafil He asked for his lunch, only to find that it wasn’t in his backpack.  He ran back to class to get it, and that delayed us somewhat.  We got to KP to run around getting flu shots (a day early), a height and weight check to see if Brandon was still on the growth curve (60#, 54″), and then we went to Peyton’s appointment.  She was being seen for behavioral modification.  Really, it was a parenting session as the child psychologist talked to me while the kids played.  They played mostly nicely with a foosball table, until Brandon decided he didn’t want to play anymore, and took the foosball with him to the other side of the room.  The therapist worked them both down, and calmly resolved the conflict.  Of course, both kids will listen if it is a stranger asking them to work things through. Both will ignore their parents if I was alone (I’m guessing, but who knows, it didn’t have to get to that point).  We went to visit Julie after, and Mai offered both kids a banana.  It hit the spot as they were both wanting an afternoon snack!  From there, we went to visit Thiago, who at only 7 weeks old, was in the PICU.  (I did ask if it was okay to go in with the kids having just got the flu mist, but we were in the clear). We went to talk to Tarez and hang out for a little bit.  I don’t even know how long we stayed, probably 30 minutes, but the kids didn’t make ANY noise the entire time we were there.  I was holding Peyton, so that probably helped, but Brandon was trying to play peek a boo with the baby through the rails of the hospital bed.  He was alert and following Brandon mostly with his eyes.  He was fussy though, not feeling well, so he wasn’t too happy staring at Brandon.  We wrapped up there and then headed home.  PEyton practiced her piano, then Dave came home.  I headed out for dinner with Tracy, while Brandon was to have practiced and cleaned up.  They have baseball tomorrow, so I’ll have Peyton and see if I can activate my phone. I got it yesterday, but still haven’t used it as a phone. I have downloaded my apps, and gotten things set up so when I do activate it, it should be ready to go!
