Last Friday of the Year!

Today is our last Friday. I asked Dave to take the kids so I could head to school early to set up our volunteer breakfast appreciation for our readers. I arrived at school by 745 am to set up. We got everything ready to go before the Friday flag salute was over. The breakfast went well, and I had to give a speech I’d prepared. I totally broke down when I was thanking our mentor, who is moving on with her youngest, a fifth grader, to middle school. Luckily, I’d written out my thoughts, and I was not expecting to lose it, but I think she really helped me be an active participant in the school. It was a small group, of about 20, so I wore my heart on my sleeve for 10 minutes. My tough girl exterior was shed, for sure. Then we cleaned up and headed to meet with the principal to discuss some issues about our program. After 30 minutes there, I left in the middle to head to work. There, I stayed for about 1.5 hours until pick up time. Both kids received their yearbooks today. We came home and Brandon owed me some worksheets. He chooses those over sentences, and while he did that, Peyton sat quietly in her room to pore over her yearbook. She spent an HOUR up there! I thought she’d fallen asleep! Finally, Brandon finished up, and he went to read his yearbook. Peyton wanted to be challenged, so she started doing math, too. buy viagra pills DOSE :The standard recommended dosage of Apcalis is 20 mg in a day. Brandon counted that I was in the yearbook three times, while Dave was in there at least twice. He was searching for Waldo in our pictures. He has a keen eye, as he spotted me behind another kid, and I was wearing sun glasses. I’m not 100% sure he is right, but he did select Dave out of a very crowded science night picture. They got ready for swim class, and we headed to the pool. We met up with the new teacher, who is also a teacher at their school. She was really good with them, and she took the kids in turn. Both kids responded well and neither goofed off with the other. They worked for 27 minutes, and then got 3 minutes of play time. Even then, she was still watching how they played under water with the rings and the rockets. We ended our lesson, got gas, then headed home. Dave got home shortly after that, and we headed to the car impound. Peyton is racing pinewood derby cars for Girl Scouts. We saw her troopmates, as well as softball teammate, Maddie and Coach G. We received Peyton’s softball picture earlier in the day as well. After helping out a bit, we went to get some strawberries for tomorrow, then headed to dinner. After dinner, we headed home for a big day tomorrow.
