Today, Peyton was super excited because Hope was going to come over. She cleaned up her room though Hope had asked her mom to tell Peyton she didn’t have to. (Her mom said that’s what she would want to hear if someone were coming to her house). She even made her bed; and get this, with Brandon’s help! He told her, “Here, let me show you, because Grandma showed me how to make the bed.” I suggested he do the same, and he responded, “She’s not coming into MY room!” I told him just in case she walked by and she would tell Grace what a messy room he had. Well, that prompted him to make his bed and tidy up a bit, too. After drop off and flag salute, I headed to work for a couple of hours. I went back home and got some things out of Peyton’s closet for them to play. I headed to school to pick up H, but her mom was there to greet her from the teacher. Peyton knew she had to offer the guest the choice of activities. They washed up, and then headed upstairs to play. They ended up playing in the kitchen, and I overheard them making smoothies. Soon, Peyton told me Hope wanted a snack. Hope whispered, “I told you to ASK her!” We got some cheese sticks and popcorn, and then they went back up to play. We didn’t have a lot of time, since I was dropping Hope back off to her mom when she picked up Grace.
