Gingerbread houses!

I got to school to help out with the holiday party. Both kids had practiced their presentations. Brandon for “Caring” and Peyton for her Girl Scouts show and tell as well as brief history of the GS.

I helped Tricia, who had had her husband and the girls assemble the houses out of milk cartons. Flag salute was going on extra long as it was citizen of the month. Good thing I don’t have ” caring” children 😉.  We set most of it up by the time other parents showed up and by the time the kids came in.

I stayed until most of it was done, then I headed to work.

I worked until pick up time. We came home to practice piano then headed back to pick up Brandon. We made a stop at the dollar store then headed home. The kids took turns on ST math. Brandon is motivated to not be one of the lowest kids in the class to have completed tasks. He worked to get himself to above average completion rate. Dave came home early to avoid the traffic. We headed out for some shopping of gifts for Christmas. Then we had a late dinner and later bedtime. Good thing the only activity we have tomorrow is the Family giving tree volunteering.
