Science camp

After packing and re packing this weekend, dave dropped Brandon off at science camp on Monday. 

I’d been asked by a mom friend to take pictures of G and B before departure, but I’d already arrived at work.

Brandon had requested David to be his roommate among a group of 5.  

I later got this from the teacher: “All is well up here. So far it has been a smooth opening to science camp.

I’d agreed to be the teacher’s help with an emergency phone tree only to later learn that I was the FIRST point of contact for her. Then I’d have the other five leads to contact. So my ringer has been on and I’m diligently awaiting any calls.  Fortunately, there have not been any. No news is good news as far as I’m concerned.  

They come back Friday. 

And because I don’t have an early morning tomorrow, I get this (for a job well done in her first practice of the competitive softball season) 


She sleeps the same when she was a baby. But it’s not as cute now that she’s taken up my whole side of the bed. 

She was smacking the ball hard against coach pitch. Dave hopes if she hits like that during games, other pitchers will move out of the way!
