Good Reports All Around

I went to pick up Peyton, and the program director stopped me on the way out.  She said Peyton LOVES being in school.  The director said she and the toddler teacher, Day-day, watch Peyton with some of the older kids, and they can’t believe that Peyton is younger.  This is the same director who had given us many tips on what to do with Brandon’s behavior, so it was nice to hear positive things about at least one of our kids.  She said it was probably because she was the second child, and that she loves school.  I did tell the director that whenever I drop Brandon off first, and then walk back to the car and tell her, “Now, it’s YOUR turn for school,” she kicks her legs and flaps her arms, so excited to get to school.  She’s still pointing to her primary teacher, and the backup teacher is still working on Peyton pointing at her, but has not been successful.  So far, she only knows where Mollie is.  She said, “Up” to me today when I went to take her out of the car seat!  I think it’s by accident that she says things, but the pointing may be for real.  The teachers have noticed the pointing since last Friday; they thought it was a fluke last week, but I think they are thinking it’s more purposeful now.   She was looking at school pictures with me today, and was totally quiet while we were waiting our turn, but as soon as she saw her picture with Brandon, she started pointing and saying, “Dah, dah!  Ah-dah!”  She also points to Da-da, and says Da-da repeatedly.  She only says Ma-Ma once in And due opacc.cv generic tadalafil no prescription to the fact you will discover a never known potential that exists within you and that you have always been so powerful, but never really knew it. Brandon has been having great days at school.  I think the toys that are waiting for him (from my mom) are total motivation for him.  We went to school this morning, and saw one of his little friends, who is a younger brother.  They said hello, and then the older sister said, “Hi, Brandon.”  Brandon sheepishly said, “Hi, Nadiya.”  I thought that would be the end of it, but then the mom asked Brandon, “Do you remember my name?”  Brandon nodded, and said, “Ah-hah.”  She said, “What is it?”  Brandon said, “Katie.”  She smiled and said, “You’re right!”  She looked at me and said, “Normally, I’m Alessandro’s mom, but the other day, Brandon asked me, ‘What’s your name?'”  She told him it was Katie.  Then he turned around and said, “Hi, Katie!” like they were friends. Brandon’s such the charmer!  Of course he picks the pretty, tall, blonde mom to say hello to.  Smooth – soooo not like his daddy.
The final good report is that we are getting ready for the big move.  The walk through is set for this Friday, and then we may be getting keys as early as the beginning of next week, before Thanksgiving.  We’ll then be headed up to the ice and mountains, and then back again to move, move, move.  Dave wants to go to the “house of the mouse” for his birthday 🙂  He’s such a big kid.  I had to get a couple of days off, since his birthday is on a Wednesday!  It’ll be fun though, taking Peyton there during the holidays for her first Christmas time in the park.  Hopefully since we’re going mid-week, it’ll be not so crowded.  So hectic, but excited!!
