Home Sweet Home

Today we got the keys to our brand new home.  Dave and I had done the walk-through on Friday, but this was the first time we were able to get into it on our own.  Dave picked Brandon up from school, and I met them there with Peyton.  Brandon was so excited to open the door for me.  He even asked, “Who is it?”  He needed constant reminders to keep his hands off the walls.  This past weekend, Brandon was in a bit of a funk.  He wasn’t listening to Dave or me, he was talking back, and generally misbehaving.  Dave thinks it is because we’ve been talking about the new house, moving in, and disruption of our normal routine (which is never good in Brandon’s book).  Today, he even said, “I don’t want to move into the new house.”  I asked him why not.  He said, “Because you may leave me behind in the old house.”  A-ha.  He thinks we’re going to somehow forget him.  I told him we wouldn’t leave him, and that we’d be sure to take him.  Then he said, “You’d never leave me?”  I told him of course not.  We had been asking him what room he had wanted.  He never really answered me until when we were actually in the house.  He said, “Mommy, I want to show you MY room.”  So we went upstairs and I thought he was going to pick the room closest to us, just because he’s a fraid-y cat.  Instead, he chose the larger room with two windows in the middle of the hallway.  We think These groups have patches and insignias to show membership and often ride to order generic levitra the rallies together or meet up when they arrive. 100mg viagra online Not all men with Peyronie’s disease have erectile dysfunction but it is certainly not rare. But that does not mean you buy sildenafil tablets should end up making them your first choice. it’s perfect for him, since it is the biggest and it’s facing the street.  That’s handy in more than way – Brandon can look at the street, similar to the view he’s got now, and the neighbors won’t have to be subjected to any tantrums he may throw in his room.  Peyton will have the room right across from ours, and then the room closest to the bathroom will be our office.
Before I had gotten there, Dave and Brandon heard our fire alarm chirping.  It was pretty high up on the ceiling, so Dave said, “I am not able to reach it right now.”  Brandon said, “You need a ladder, maybe you should go ask Josh.”  Dave was thrown off by this; he didn’t know who Brandon was talking about.  Then he said, “Or Nela, maybe?”  Then Dave got it.  Nela is my coworker who moved into the complex a few months ago now.  Brandon met them one time when we were coming out of the sales office and Nela invited us over to see their new house.  Dave actually carried Brandon through their house to make sure he didn’t mess anything up.  I now recall seeing a ladder, but am amazed that Brandon had been casing out the joint as well.  It’s amazing what kinds of things he can focus on when he wants to.  We won’t officially be moving in until next weekend, as we’re headed out tomorrow.  It might give the workers a little extra time to finish up with the touch ups we requested from the walk through. Stay tuned for pictures!
