Still no internet

Having to update the blog from our phones is getting painful. But if I do not jot it down, it will be forgotten. This morning started super early as I had my CDE exam at 9 in the city. I had scheduled it for a closer site but they had to cancel. Since it was held downdown, I decided to drive up halfway then take the subway the rest of the way. Problem is the testing site was still another mile and a half up. Dave told me to catch a cab, but me being cab-phobic (not to mention very bad with public transportation) I decided to walk it. It wasn’t a straight shot either so my phone GPS helped out. I got there in plenty of time and since no one was there to let me in, I went back for an egg nog latte. This was the first exam I’ve taken on a computer. It seemed a bit strange but I managed. One great thing is you get results instantly! I was a little worried about failing – the test costed me $350 to take. It is supposedly required for my job, but it’s been 3 years already. We were just getting pressured. I quickly scanned the printout to find the magic word “passed”. Phew – now I can move to finishing up Christmas gifts and get more unpacking done. I called Dave to tell him. I also wanted to know what jammies Peyton was in because today was Jammie day at her school. Dave said “the fire truck ones.” I had to clarify with him. He told me, “Brandon is wearing his fire truck jammies.”. So the wires got a little crossed, obviously. I told both sets of teachers what had happened. Luckily the bottoms were thin so Dave put some regular sweats on top. The shirt looks sorta like a normal shirt just thinner. Dave had layered a thermal layer under that. This might cause lack of arousal tadalafil 5mg tablets and as a result tension prevailed in the household. So did Emily, Veronica’s mom who we’ve had playdates outside of school. Oh well, that’s what happens on Daddy’s watch. After Dave dropped the kids off, he went to pick up his glasses at my work and got them adjusted. After my test I did a few errands and went home. As I was pumping, the doorbell rang. It was the DSL guys trying to figure out what is going on with our internet. I was so not prepared for anyone to be there. I was wrapping gifts and pumping so it took me awhile to get the door. The guys were here for almost an hour and I was running behind in the next round of errands. Our work was distributing turkeys for the holidays. Yep, that’s right, a free turkey to all employees. I went to pick up my ticket, the drove by to pick it up. Managers from all departments were there distributing. Funny thing was I saw my boss there! The turkey he was to give me slipped and landed on the floor! Nice. I did get another one. I picked up both kids with plenty of time to spare. Dave was already home getting dinner made. While we were eating, Brandon looked at Dave and said, “Why did you get new glasses?”. Man, I hadn’t even noticed, and I knew he had gone in to pick them up. Brandon hadn’t known that. Crazy observant. After the kids went to bed we unloaded more boxes. We can now put one car in the garage! We now have to work on the other.
