Volleyball

The first week of volleyball was a pretty good one!

The first game was on Tuesday, and I had to work until 430 pm. I took off a bit early, but the first two sets had already completed. They had each won one set. The parents took turns swapping back and forth in the stands, while I stood at the entrance to the gym. I was able to watch set #3 and 4, and I got some good footage of Brandon serving.

They ended up winning the match 3-1.

Thursday, today, I got there just as they were starting, after piano.

Peyton started off today not wanting to play, but I reminded her she didn’t want to play basketball either, and she does quite well in that. By the night’s end, she told me, “I want to play volleyball!”

Pictures of their huddle…the fun thing about this team is that we know over 80% of the kids, having grown up with them in sports and/or at school.
