Mommy, scary movie

I was washing Brandon’s dishes today, when I heard, “Mommy.  Mommy, scary movie.”  I listened, and he was watching the trailer for Sweeney Todd.  I told him to cover his eyes; he lifted his arm in the general direction of his eyes, but it was still not very effective.  Good thing trailers are short.

I found a block under the sofa and asked Brandon to put it away.  I thought it belonged to a box that was sitting out on the floor, but he brought it to me and said, “My dump truck.”  Oh yeah, it was a different block; he knew right away that it was a different block!  I asked him to go put it in the dumptruck then.  He said, “Dumptruck in car.  Daddy’s car.”  I told him to go look in his room and put the block away.  When I went into his room, the dumptruck wasn’t there.  I think he was right – it is in the car.  Guess we’ll have to put it away later.
