Thanks to Dave, Brandon is now going to be attending kindergarten at our local neighborhood public school. He had to bring at least 7 pieces of information with him. The school now knows how much our house costs, what car we drive, how much Dave weighs (driver’s license) and all the intimate details of our first born child. They took copies of all of that! It wasn’t enough to just to show it, but they took a copy. Hopefully there are no thieves working there. After Dave picked up the registration packet, he came home, filled it out, then went back to have it processed. Next stop was going to enroll Brandon to the onsite daycare. At first, Dave only enrolled him in the after school program, saying that he’d take Brandon to school in the morning, so we wouldn’t have to pay for before school care. I had to remind him that school probably didn’t start until 830am or 9am. He then upgraded to full day care, so we’re covered both in the morning and evening. It is about 60% of what we are paying now, so I guess it’s a little savings, however since we are changing Peyton’s school, she will be more per month. I hope he does well there. He has been having trouble making good choices these days in his current school. The boy still has a lot of growing up to do. On the other hand, Peyton is generally pretty obedient when asked to do something. She’ll just get up and do what is asked of her, no lip, no funny faces, nothing. Just does it. It’s like a breath of fresh air when things happen the way they are supposed to. Hopefully something will click with Brandon.
