Birthday part 2

Today was Brandon’s actual birthday.  This morning, I asked Peyton, “Whose birthday is it?”  She said, “Bruddah’s.”  She is taking it all in.  I had initially taken today and tomorrow off thinking we’d celebrate his birthday somehow.  Glad I did, since I was home all day with Peyton on Friday.  I was able to send both kids to school, have time to work out, make a shopping run, and still have time to get everything ready for his school party.  I showed up to school a little early; the kids were still at naptime.  After a few minutes, the teachers were ready.  Brandon got to wear the birthday crown, and the kids all sang the birthday song to him.  Then, all the kids acted like candles and Brandon got to blow them out 🙂  They all ate their snacks, and it was time for Brandon to start his surprise with me.  He was a little sad to leave school, but I told him he’d have fun with what I had planned.  We stopped by the ice cream store to get his free scoop.  His eye was caught by the brightly-colored one.  It was the sorbet!  Awesome choice!  I got a scoop of pistachio almond.  He asked me, “Do you want a taste of mine?”  I declined, but took his hint and said, “Would you like a taste of mine?”  He nodded and gladly took a small taste of mine.  I asked him what his tasted like.  He said, “Um, vitamin.”  Then he offered again if I wanted to try it.  We headed over to the movie theater, but Brandon still didn’t know what was going on.  He thought we might be going to the bowling alley.  I went up to the ticket counter and requested our tickets.  Then, Brandon got what was going on.  We went potty before.  I had him in the larger stall, and he said, “I’m going to pee but don’t look at what I’m doing.”  Geez, all of a sudden he’s 5 and he wants to keep his privates private.  As of yesterday, I watched him go to With regards to just about every grown-up around America features observe the actual prescription medication and allow for do you know precisely the kind of info that will help? I told her I had to go say goodnight to bruddah and that I would come back to her.  She was asleep before I was finished flossing Brandon’s teeth.
