3/4 family game night

Peyton was very tired tonight.  She has a runny nose (again), and is starting to come down with something.  That meant she was out by 8pm.  I tried to encourage Brandon to be quiet, so that we could play this game he got for his birthday, that requires 3 people to play.  It is like Pictionary, only with Legos.  It is a game made by Lego, so it’s great for him!  It’s amazing how quiet he can be when he knows there’s something in it for him.  I told him if Peyton woke up, we couldn’t play anymore.

Brandon put Peyton’s spoon in his mouth, and I washed it off and gave it to her.  She didn’t see me washing it, and said, “It’s germy now.”  I had no idea she knew what “germy” was.  Another word she knows: “stripes”.  She was putting on some socks.  They were striped and furry, like lounging, home socks.  She picked them up and said, “Oh, striped ones!”  She also knows the other polka dot ones.  Funny she can describe her clothing, like the “Valentine’s day” sweatshirt (it has hearts), or “this one has flowers”.  Brandon didn’t have the opportunity, since I don’t think he’s ever had any polka dot socks.

It was a dog house!  I guessed it correctly, so Brandon and I both got one point 🙂
