Weekend Review

This weekend was pretty busy.  We went to a 60th birthday banquet on Friday night.  There was “live” entertainment in the form of karaoke and dancing.  We were sitting right on the edge of the dance floor, and Brandon kept turning around and watching, no, studying really, the dancers.  Most on the dance floor were the birthday boy’s friends, so they were ballroom dancing and then line dancing.  A slow song came on and then couples were out there; my mom asked Brandon if he wanted to dance, and he threw his arms out and said, “Yes!” (He was in the high chair, so he lifted his arms as if to say, “Up!” but the “Yes” was very emphatic.  But the slow song was over before he was able to get out of the chair.  So he had to boogie down instead.  Pretty soon he was tuckered out and we knew it was time to leave.  Dinner hadn’t started until 7pm, so it was already pretty late when we were done eating.  I was just hanging around long enough for cake (yum!).
Saturday we went to an early celebration of my mom’s 60th.  We stayed over at my Grandma’s house.  When we woke up, my aunt came out and we had to bribe Brandon to say, “Good Morning” to her.  We told him he couldn’t watch Thomas unless he did so.  So finally he did it.  But when my Sexual ability in men is more related to viagra sale uk self esteem and any complication like ED would severely hurt their ego of being a tough man. After dinner, we all met up at my parents’ house.  Brandon didn’t get to sleep until 1130pm!!  We were all telling my mom that it wasn’t fair because she always used to make us go to bed by 8pm, especially if she were playing Mah Jong, but Brandon got to stay up as long as she played with him.  Totally unfair because when he comes back home with us, he fusses because he has to go to sleep much earlier.
Yesterday was pretty uneventful as we made our way back home.  Brandon hung out with my parents at Costco, while Dave and I relaxed back at the house.  Then when we finally went home, Brandon got to watch Cars (that was the only way he’d come home – he wanted to stay with Grandma, or go home in Grandma’s car – she’s got the DVD player in the car).  He was lying on my leg, then he got up and said, “It’s bumpy.  And there’s hair.”  Yes, I guess I do have to shave, sheesh.  Brandon saw my brother’s hairy legs over the weekend, and pulled up his own pant leg to inspect his own hair.  It’ll be awhile until we see that.
