Brandon’s day

Today, we dropped Peyton off, then headed back to Brandon’s school. It was really chilly today, which is different than it has been all week! It looked like it was supposed to rain even. He really wanted to play in the playground before school, and he told me he would continue to get his greens. His teacher was on yard duty, so it gave me a chance to catch up about yesterday. She was really happy for him, and said he tried really hard all day long. She also told me he was very excited about our past weekend, and told her all about the wedding, what they ate, and who he played with. He told her all about his cousins and swimming with them. After the bell rang, we all walked to flag salute. They had a band concert today, so the kinders all sat in the middle of the assembly since the band had taken over their usual place. The band played three songs, the last being the theme song from Star Wars. I was betting he was super excited about it! I met up with him after the assembly and gave him one last hug and encouragement. He’d told me previously he knew how to get greens – “I just won’t DO anything!” I came back at lunch, and it was lunch in the classroom because of the weather, then dismissal to the playground after the first 20 minutes. Brandon was almost done with his lunch by the time I arrived at the classroom, which was only 2 minutes after it started. He must have eaten most of it at recess. His new thing is if he doesn’t eat his entire lunch, he loses the snack the next day. He’d been not eating the entree and/or veggies and replacing it with CDC snack or his home snack even. And, since women viagra australia we are talking about health that doesn’t means, these foods would taste like medicine. So, he’d had about 1/2 his pasta and his cucumber to eat. He was pretty subdued in the beginning, almost looking tired. I even concentrated on watching the other kids more since he wasn’t giving me trouble at all. Toward the end of the 20 minutes, the kids got a bit antsy, but soon, I dismissed then one table at a time. We headed to the playground, and they were off and running. Again, lunch was unremarkable, except that I benched another kid, since two different people came up to me and told me he had hurt them. A third corroborated the story, and down he went. After their lunch, I went back to my car and ate the lunch I’d brought for myself. It doesn’t make much sense to go home in the 40-45 minutes between end of lunch and end of school, so I’ve just been hanging out in the car. I played with my phone and ate, then headed back to get him. As soon as I saw him, he ran out and said, “I got 15 greens again!” (I’d peeked at lunch and he was going steady with all greens). He was already rattling off which toys he wanted to earn back. I got down what he’d requested, and he got to watch 2 beyblade episodes. He even helped me make a batch of cookies, and tasted one of the rejects. Later, he did some homework with me by reading me a few books, then we went to get Peyton. We don’t have special plans for the weekend yet, but knowing Dave, he won’t be able to sit still here long 🙂
