Being around his cousins is a good influence for Brandon. He was listening right away over the weekend, jumping up to put away his clothes, towel, and toys. It wasn’t the usual 3 times to remind him about something, but he’d do it when first asked. He knew the alternative would be missing out on fun time with the others if he didn’t make good choices. This carried on to the next day, on Monday, when he brought home a PURPLE card! Here’s proof:
He earned it for studying quietly. However, his purpleness seemed to end right as school did, as at CDC, he was told to put on sunblock, and he shouted back at the teacher, “You’re not the boss of me!” Not sure where he got that one, but Dave told me not to point fingers.
Uh-huh. Today, he got a green, and we didn’t hear about anything in the afterschool portion, so hopefully he’s straightened himself out. And for the record, we did tell him that his teachers WERE the boss of him. Both Dave and I independently let him know.
