Baseball Fun!

Today’s game was much later, at 130pm, so Dave had time to go for a bike ride early this morning. The kids kept busy, while I made them breakfast. Dave surprised us by returning only an hour after setting out. I thought he’d had a flat, or there was some accident or something, but I guess he just rides less without Ted. So he took Peyton to shop for groceries, while I finished up homework with Brandon. We ate an early lunch, and I tried to get Peyton down for a nap early. Brandon was told to go to his room, too, but neither slept. Dave decided to take Brandon to warm up early, while I kept Peyton up, hoping she’d sleep in the stroller. We left about 115 pm, and she fell asleep in the stroller, but didn’t last long at all. She woke up when we arrived to the game, and we hung out in the shade. It was super hot, and I felt badly for the team. At least we were playing on the big field today. After the game, one of the moms invited the whole team over to their house for a water day. We all went home, changed the kids, and then returned with ice cream in hand. There was a slip in slide set up, along with a trampoline. The other boys were all there, while the parents just sat in the shade chatting. Peyton didn’t want to take her shorts off, but finally, she got comfortable and did so. She was hesitant to join the boys, but Brandon jumped right in. Since Brandon was there, Peyton joined, too. It took her awhile to get the sliding down, but with the help of the kickboard, she flew down the slide! Most of the kids ended up in the trampoline, but Peyton, Brandon, and Tal were left with the water. They went up and down, and back again, over and over. It’s amazing they didn’t get bored of it! They even passed up ICE CREAM! I couldn’t believe it. Now all this makes Pfizer’s order generic viagra a pointless deal and one can easily get viagra for less than 50Rs. We wrapped them in their towels, and told them after the snacks, we’d be leaving. Dave had to go back to work today, so he wanted to get headed out, though we were only there for 30 minutes or so. Peyton wandered over to the trampoline, but there were already too many people in there. And it wouldn’t have been safe for her, given the other kids were much bigger than she. She told me she just wanted to go see. The girl on Brandon’s team to her, “There are too many people in here right now, you can’t come in. Sorry!” Before I even had a chance to respond, Peyton shot back, “But I’m just looking, anyway.” I was so proud of her standing up for herself! She didn’t even think twice about it. After I told her it was time to go, she went back to where Brandon was. We said our thank you and goodbyes, then headed home. It was early, 430pm, but we wanted to go to dinner before Dave left for work. It’s kids eat free night to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, so we did that. We were even able to order 2 entrees for Brandon, since it’s two entrees per paying adult. We didn’t dare ask for Peyton’s two, since we knew Brandon would finish most of it. And he did! While we were eating dinner, Peyton kept asking to go home. Dave laughed and asked her, “Why are you tired?” She didn’t answer, but I knew from her almost falling asleep in my car, to asking multiple times, that she was. I wanted to take my time, since Dave and I split a margarita. Yes, two alcoholic beverages in two days! Unheard of. After dinner, I took both kids home, while trying to keep Peyton up long enough to brush her teeth. Luckily, I’d bathed her before we left for dinner. Brandon showered, while I got Peyton down. I think she was out in 5 minutes, and it’s only 630 pm! Here’s proof that I sent to Dave:

I knew it would happen quickly, given she had no nap during the day, and a bunch of running around all day long.
