Early Start!

Today, I got up right as soon as the kids did, at 645 am, and I was at work by 715am. I thought I’d have the whole place to myself, but just like yesterday, I was not! I was joined 30 minutes later by another co-worker there to do the same thing. We chatted for a bit, then worked – she until about 1230 pm, and I did for another 45 minutes or so later. I rushed home, and both kids were asleep. Brandon got up first, and I got him ready for baseball. Peyton sauntered down 30 minutes later, and rolled around for a little bit in the middle of the stairs. When Dave and Brandon left for baseball, I took a 30 minute catnap, while Peyton was to wake me up at 340pm. I heard my alarm before Peyton woke me up. Then we walked over to the game. She whined about walking, but as soon as we walked outside, she started to jog. Which meant that I was jogging. We got there right after the game started. We were keeping each other warm. Finally the game ended, and Dave had brought dry ice and ice cream sandwiches. Had he known about the weather, he should have brought hot cocoa for the kids! The parents didn’t want the kids to eat them, since it was that cold, but the kids didn’t care. Of course. After we were done, we headed home to get more clothes before heading to our pumpkin carving party. We brought three pumpkins, and some tools that I picked up at the dollar store. The Laverone’s had a photo booth set up, and tables to carve. I saved our seeds to roast, and the kids shared a pumpkin.
