“Converstations”

So we had the “old folks” dinner party tonight, but we missed The Kao’s, since Meimei was in the “hostable”.  [We call it the “old folks” party, since it’s some of the older school work people; there aren’t any “kids” in attendance.  They think we sit around and discuss all our health-related ailments and eat soft, mushy foods.]  We are sending her our best and wish her a speedy recovery.  Dave had no one to open a bottle of wine for, and then had to coerce Stuart and the Chang’s to drink coffee with him.  He wouldn’t have had to worry about either had Michelle and Ted been here.  While we were eating, Bonnie asked us if we may have had a misspelling in our Christmas card.  Dave thought that he had a syntax error, but in fact, Bonnie was trying to nicely put that Dave had created a new word!  You see, Dave was in charge of the Christmas cards this year.  He said I was “supposed” to have edited it, but he conveniently hit send to order the cards before I had a chance to look them over.  Had he let me read it, I would hopefully had caught that Brandon was having “converstations” with Santa.  Dave said maybe he had Thomas the Train on his mind when he typed it out.  Oh well, it’s like that one year for Halloween that I put the wrong year because I was working on a calendar for the next year around the same time.  We’ve got a lot on our minds, so it’s just an accomplishment that we sent them out, despite the new language that we’re creating 🙂
So back to dinner – Dave made a bone-in pork loin that he stuffed with sausage, dried fruit, pine nuts stuffing with brandy and clementine zest, Manchego cheese-garlic mashed potatoes, steamed aspargus, salad and Where to Buy Melanotan II There are a few cialis prescription places to flip to unless the case could be a crisis. Robert showed Dave the infamous “We’ve been elfsita’d”.  Dave finally got to see what we’ve all been talking about – Robert’s pearly-white grin and Julie’s lasso-ing technique.  So after some good “converstation”, good food and good cheer, we wrapped up the evening.  It was quite late for Brandon, so he was bathed, read to, and then he fell asleep on his own.  This setting limits thing seems to be working out – let’s home he lasts through the night, too.  We definitely need to be more strict with the bedtime routine – this is one area that we totally need to work on.  Soon, there won’t be enough room for Dave to fit in Brandon’s bed, and it’s sad for him to sleep on the floor.  It does mean that I have to share my bed again, alas.

  1. We’re so sorry we missed out the great food, fun gathering, and the birthday cake! Both Ted and I promise to drink the wine and coffee with Dave next time we get together. We picked up MeiMei yesterday around 6PM and she’s home with us now. She’s doing fine now but the prognosis is very poor =(.

  2. Thanks again for the dinner. It was delicious. Michelle can drink wine with Dave, but I’m always down for post dinner coffee.
