Brandon, like Dave’s mom, is having a hard time with the concept of the baby monitor. Dave’s mom thought it was a two-way. Apparently, so does Brandon. Dave was in the outside bathroom, washing his hands, but was still talking to Brandon about something. It picked up on the baby monitor by Baby Sister’s crib, and Dave’s voice was transmitting to the receiver that was out in the living room next to me. Brandon picked up the receiver and started talking into it, “Huh, Daddy, huh.” He thought he’d talk to Dave through the monitor, like a walkie talkie.
First “bath”: Baby sister got her first hair wash today. Her hair was getting kinda greasy, since it’s been since
the first day since she got a bath. Her belly button area is almost off, a little bit early, I guess, so we’re waiting until it heals until we fully bathe her. So we’ll just sponge bathe her in pieces. Her skin is very dry, so we don’t want to make it worse. Also we want to do it when Brandon is not around, so both of us are doing it together. It’s probably better to do it in the daytime, when it’s warmer. So this afternoon, we washed her hair, and now it’s fluffy. She didn’t like it at first, but in girl-style, she quickly realized being pampered is a good thing and closed her eyes to enjoy it.
