Alone Time
I got to spend time with Brandon yesterday. Dave took Peyton to the A’s game right after setting up for science night. Brandon did some homework at cdc so I checked that. Then he said, “I have good news and bad news.” He’d had his meeting for student council that day at lunch, so I told him to start with the good news. He showed me the candidate application. There were like 50 people who showed up.” I told him that wasn’t bad news. I told him trying was the good news. He was taking it seriously at least. And he didn’t want to miss band. I told her last week was BTSN and we switched schedules around to accommodate. I told Brandon we’d be reading in the car. But Peyton needed to be picked up. She opted to stay so Brandon read 20 minutes to me in the parking lot. We went to band, and I dropped him off and waited in the back.
