And there was still the traffic to contend with, so it was frustrating. Dave then asked me to check one of the settings – sure enough, it was on “avoid toll roads” setting, so it was sending us in a roundabout way. Slowly, people started filtering in and hor d’ourves were being set out. Finally the happy couple showed up! We rushed through dinner because we had to get to the Sage Chapel to run through the ceremony. We didn’t even have a chance to eat dessert (my favorite part), it was packed up in to-go boxes. We caravan-ed over to the Chapel, but Brandon had fallen asleep, which was good since it would help him refresh. He slept the long uphill walk up to the Chapel and even as the adult bridal party was lining up.
