Poor Mickey

Brandon has this antenna ball that has been his backseat companion to and from school.  He has been so good about leaving him in the car now while he is at school and remembers to pick him up right when he gets back at the end of the day.  Today, I took him in to school so that I could go do some errands and on the way, I hear, “Uh-oh.” Immediately, I knew it was something with Mickey, since he was back there with him.  He tore off his ear with his teeth!  He held up this one-eared antenna ball for me to inspect at the red light.  Then I took the ear so he wouldn’t continue to gnaw on it.  I told him he broke Mickey.  “Broken” – yeah, that’s right.  Poor Mickey.  He looks so sad now with just one ear.

So we got to school, he threw him down for later, and went off to school.  I was able to go grocery shopping and even work out!  Finally, an end to my annual 24hour fitness donation.  It’s been over 2 years.  I’ve been paying my dues yearly, since my dad paid the initiation and it’s not as much now.  If I stop, then it will be much more expensive.  So I’m making it pay off now!  For just dropping Brandon off for 3 hours, I was able to get so much done!

I picked him up to take him to do a few more errands (he likes going to the bank) – and we went to work to see the anticoagulation aunties.  They were having lunch brought in for the student’s last day.  So we hung out there and Brandon found Theresa’s cookies.  He suckered her out of two of them.  But when the last 1/2 of the cookie fell on the ground, he knew better than to eat it and dutifully threw it away.  What restraint-I think if I were eating the cookie, the 5-second rule would have been invoked.  After we left there, we went to get Michelle a baby present.  Since it was 130p when we were driving down to San Jose, he was out quickly in the backseat.  I was able to transfer him to the stroller, shop around for quite awhile, and get most of the shopping done before pushing my luck while still at Babies R Us.  Since it’s so far and I don’t get to go often, I like browsing.  I browsed a little too long.  He sat up, looked around, let out a slight cry, trying to figure out where he was.  I quickly oriented him – telling him we were in Babies R Us and he was ok.  Another shopper laughed at us, but Brandon was good with the explanation, especially after I let him hold some of the items.

While we were driving back, I hear another “uh-oh” and just knew that Mickey was a goner.  Brandon held up the remains and said, “Ball-ball”.  Yes, poor Mickey was reduced to a common ball; now like one of the many that Brandon has at home.  Good thing it was a standard Mickey antenna ball and not the golden 50th anniversary one!

Row, Row, Row…

Dave asked me today what school does with “Row, Row, Row your boat”.  I didn’t know what he meant.  He said yesterday when he was giving Brandon a bath, he started singing the song and Brandon did something and Dave didn’t know what it meant.  I asked Dave to show me what he was talking about.  While Dave was putting Brandon’s clothes on after the bath, he started singing the song and Brandon grabbed Dave’s hands and started rocking back and forth, trying to sing along.  It was so cute and unexpected.  Wow, they learn so much at school, Brandon’s teaching us new things.  Dave was saying yesterday how Brandon was trying to name his classmates and point them out to Dave when he picked him up from school.  But Dave couldn’t understand Brandon and doesn’t know the kids, so he couldn’t really make it out.  I told him Nonetheless, this critical circumstance has a host of other health benefits buy brand cialis protecting the heart, providing more energy and increase productivity. Today when I went to pick Brandon up, he climbed up on the structure and started pointing out the window saying, “house” or it sounded like “clouse”.  The teachers and I were listening carefully trying to figure out what he was pointing to and saying.  We couldn’t figure it out, but Brandon kept pointing up and repeating himself, getting more excited.  Finally the teacher says, “Oh, clouds!”  Yes, Brandon was pointing up to the clouds; it was pretty cloudy today, summer has gone already.

Still recovering from the weekend

We flew out on Friday night to Ontario; thanks to my mom who dropped us off.  By the time we landed and got settled into the car, Brandon had fallen asleep, even though Dave’s parents wanted him to stay up and play.  When we got home, Dave’s dad nudged Brandon to get up.  He even said, “Hey, wake up, we’re home.”  I told him it was ok, then came around to the rear door.  Dave’s mom asked if it was ok to just leave him in the car.  I really didn’t know what to say to that.  I had just told them my coworker’s nanny story.  Luckily, Brandon stayed asleep even after the transfer.  He went down in Dave’s upstairs room without a fight.  Now the question was how to make sure he stayed there while we were downstairs eating dinner.  The doors have the round knobs, which we didn’t think he could get past.  He can open doors at our house, but they are the flat bar-like kind, so are easier to manipulate.  But if we shut the door, would we be able to hear him?  I also closed the window, since it was on the second floor.  Was it too hot?  So many factors!  There was no comfortable place downstairs to put him where he wouldn’t wake up.  So we quickly ate dinner, briefed Dave’s parents on the behavioral stuff that we are working on with Brandon, and went back upstairs.  Now the dilemma was how to brush his teeth, and we still had to change his clothes.  He had just gotten his teeth cleaned, so we wanted to keep that shine.  We couldn’t drop the ball because we were on vacation.  So we did it.  Woke him up, did our brushing routine, changed his clothes, and then he was up, but still tired.  So he did his usual routine, rolling around, pulling all the pillows, and then caught a glimpse of the toy that Dave’s mom had gotten him.   We told him he had to wait until the morning to play with it, and I guess he was tired enough that he didn’t put up much of a fight. He did wake up a few times like I mentioned before, but in the morning, at his usual 630am, he woke up, ate, and saw the toy again. He didn’t forget. So we opened it and let him play while we tried to get back to sleep.  Dave’s mom knocked on the door and took Brandon out.  Aaah…another hour or so of sleep.  Nice.  Brandon was in Dave’s parents’ room with the door closed so he wouldn’t wander around or down the stairs.  So I took a shower, got ready, and then started talking to Dave.  Then I heard Brandon starting to cry, grasping at the door, and then being let out by Dave’s mom.  “Mommy, Mommy!” and then he ran over to give me a hug.  Dave’s mom said they were almost running out of things to keep him entertained – golfing, playing with the car toy and the airplane left over from last time.  Dave’s mom told me that every 15 minutes or so, he called out, “mommy” and she just told him I was sleeping.

We went out to breakfast, and took some passport photos at Jennifer’s parents’ photo store.  Debbie and Jennifer had their stories about getting passport photos and/or the passport itself, so I decided to just get one to have it on hand.  We’re not going anywhere yet, but it took Jennifer so long to get hers, I just wanted to have one so we didn’t have to rush if we did decide to go somewhere.  Jennifer’s mom was really good at getting Brandon’s picture.  It didn’t take too long.  Her dad also helped to hold Brandon up so he didn’t move around or fall off of the perch that was made out of phone books.  We ate breakfast at a park nearby and then headed off to meet Debbie and Katie at the mall.  Katie did so well at the mall!  They had been there about an hour or more before we got there and then hung out for about 2 hours, shopping for some dress shoes for Brandon and eating lunch.  We then left to go to Belle and Uncle Johnny’s house to see the kids.  Uncle Johnny and Jeffrey were out, but Kimberlee and Gregory were there.  Gregory has so much more hair now!  It looks like a toupee.  I have to upload pictures.  Later Uncle Johnny and Jeffrey came back, and we started watching the UCLA game.  We rushed to change for the wedding and left Brandon’s favorite Crocs behind.  Brandon hadn’t really napped, which we knew would be bad.  He was almost out but while we were on the surface streets close to the yacht club, someone cut us off and Dave had to break pretty hard.  It startled Brandon and he started crying.  Great.  Not enough time to put him back to sleep.  We barely got to the wedding on time as it was.  The outside ceremony was pretty quick, but Brandon was fussy, so I took him away and tried to get him to sleep.  It didn’t work, so Dave pushed the stroller for about 20 minutes and by the time he came back, he was asleep.  He slept for the next 2 hours!  It was great; we served ourselves from the buffet, ate, and even had dessert all while he was sleeping.  He woke up and ate the food that we had saved him.  Dave’s dad took him for awhile to chat with the other parents.  We kept checking on him, and he was just sitting at the table, looking around at all the parents.  He didn’t look like he was saying much.  They came back later, about 15 minutes and said he kept asking for me.  Poor baby.  He needs to learn how to hang out with them and be more independent.  After he came back, he wanted to dance.  No one else was dancing, so he just stayed at the edge of the dance floor and bobbed, clapping his hands to the music the live band was playing. Then Annie and Jerry were swing dancing and he just studied them, looking so far up at them I thought he’d fall over.   We hung out a bit more, then called it a night.  Dave left his jacket at the reception, so the best man was going to ship it back to us.  We were going to get the Crocs shipped back to us, and Dave borrowed a pair of my uncle’s socks and he was to send those back.  Before we had Brandon, we rarely lost or forgot anything.  Now it seems we are so scattered and have things all over the place.

Sunday was pretty uneventful, we went to pick up the photos, which turned out well.  Supposedly, for passports, pictures are best without teeth.  We got one good one without teeth and two cute ones with teeth.  They looked like little school pictures.  We went to lunch and then off to the airport.  Such a quick trip!  Kenny picked us up (thank you!) and we rushed up to my great-aunt’s birthday party.  We missed out on another family night!  This time it was Korean night.  Dave was hoping we’d be missing Ethopian night since we don’t know Ethopian cuisine.  We got home around 930pm, Brandon was already sleeping, but this time we had to give him a bath in addition to brushing his teeth and changing his clothes.  We couldn’t send him to school stinky.  He didn’t want to get up, but once he was up, he wanted to read books and play.  So we did that and put him down around 1030pm.  Dave had softball Monday and had to get ready for his presentation on Tuesday.  I think we’ve finally caught up from all of the activity.  Just in time to get ready for this weekend!

Who turned out the lights?

We went to Dave’s parents’ house for a wedding this weekend.  Brandon had no problems falling asleep, he was sleeping like the good ole days, in between us.  But suddenly he woke up in the middle of the night and started crying.  It was a scared cry, then he clued us in and said, “Dark.”  He thought he was alone, until we told him we were both there, and he came up and curled up around me.  He just clung on, I think until he woke up a bit more and calmed down.  The moonlight was shining through a bit, but nothing like the street lights that come in through our windows at home.  It’s a constant nightlight at Bromelain is helpful in reducing inflammation due to infection or injury and for the addiction of new invention, the science has invented the new kind of medicine that is easily availed in the market at the cost affordable cost price which is less than the cost of all these tadalafil 20mg canada are around $1.00 per pill. Going to the Dentist

Today was Brandon’s second visit to the dentist.  It started out quickly, as the hygenist brought him back without much of a wait.  Last time I got there too early and ended up waiting around too long, which is bad with a squirmy little kid.  She sat us both in the chair and asked me if she should keep going if he cried.  I told her it was fine (apparently there must be some parents who ask them to stop if their kid cries?) – I could have given her a 100% guarantee that he would cry, so no need to stop the process for a little crying.  She tried to alleviate his fear by showing him the brush, letting him feel it on his hand, telling him it wouldn’t hurt, all the usual things I’m sure they do to calm the kids down.  Really, it was all just fluff, it wasn’t going to make a difference.  The chair was out in the open with other chairs and other kids.  As soon as she started, he cried.  And cried and cried and cried.  Nothing different than when we brush his teeth at home.  They even told me to wrap my legs around his so that he wouldn’t squirm as much.  He cried so much she stopped the cleaning and moved us to a sound-proof room so as not to bother the other kids in the room.  He said, “All done?” and we both told him, “Nice try.”  After we were in the sound-proof room, she told him, “Now, you can cry all you want”.  They had “Cars” projecting up on the screens above the chairs, but it didn’t make much of a difference to him.  She finished her cleaning, then stepped out to get some fluoride for a fluoride treatment.  He calmed down, realized that “Cars” was on and started watching.  “Cars!” he said.  I told him if he wasn’t so busy crying, he could’ve been watching it.  As soon as she came back with the fluoride foam, he turned around and saw her and started crying again.  Full on crying, not even just a whimper.  He knew she was going to do something to him!  But it was harmless, just a little foam, he wouldn’t even let her use the water squirter into his mouth, so she just wiped it off with some These supplements can bring the intended benefits without causing cialis viagra any side effects. After the dentist left, the hygenist told us we could go pick out a toy and then make a follow up appointment.  I picked up an airplane, thinking he’d like it, made the follow up and left.  No sooner does he get in the car, he’s out!  Well, yeah, after so much crying, he wore himself out.  He fell asleep with the airplane in his hand.  I brought him upstairs, laid him down and then he woke up.  He started crying again and muttering something that sounded like, “Ah-pane, waaahhh…air-pane” – what, you remembered?  I had stuffed it my bag, which I was still carrying, so I pulled it out and gave it to him.  So no afternoon nap, but maybe that means he’ll fall asleep on the plane tonight on our flight to Ontario (CA).  There’s always hope.

Fat Really Does Float and “Bios”

Today Brandon learned an important lesson, fat floats.  Dave filled the water up pretty high today for Brandon’s bath.  Then Brandon started messing around and put his elbows down under the water with his face towards the water.  As he did this, his upper half pitched down and his lower half rose up and became buoyant.  He did this repeatedly, liking the way it felt.  Then Dave decided to turn him around the other way, which he really liked, but did not have as much control.  He slid around the sloped part of the bath, losing balance and tipping to one side or another.  He had several drinks of bath water, and may have gotten some in his ears.  But he was having so much fun!  This is where it gets scary and you have to watch your kids at all times in water.  As much fun as it can be, it is also very dangerous.  Especially since he can’t sit up fully after he leans back.  He rolls over and then his face is submerged.  When I give him a bath, I hardly put any water in there, mostly since I don’t want him splashing it all over me and also there’s less of it to drain (not It helps in activating the low libido viagra sale india http://www.learningworksca.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/LWPACE-DOF-1-2015.pdf and sexual weakness. But the sleep routine seems to be the same.  He needs at least 4 “bios” (Brandon-speak for pillows, and unfortunately also used for berries and grapes).  He will whine if you are leaning on one of the pillows, until he gets it and then rolls around with it.  It still reminds me of dung beetles, rolling them around until they get where they want to be.  In Brandon’s case, it’s off to dreamland.  He likes to bury himself in the pillows, which used to be decorations on our bed, but are now his comfort objects.  By far, his favorite pillow – the Mickey pillowcase.  Minnie is on the other side.  Too bad he learned who Mickey was after our trip to Disneyland, otherwise it definitely would have been worth it to stand in line to take a picture with Mickey.  I think he learned who Mickey was after wearing his Mickey crocs, which we got at Disneyland.  It’s amazing how he can recognize the different versions of Mickey.  Brandon can recognize him if Dave draws 3 simple circles like the Mickey silhouette or from the antenna ball, or the actual likeness of him like on the pillow case.  Disney has captured Brandon as well.

He Ate It!

Brandon was running to get some food and slipped on the bubble wrap on the floor and ate it!  He hit his head on the sofa and immediately started crying.  We looked at each other, thinking, “Wow, that must have hurt!” then tried to hold back our laughter.  It was pretty funny, and as soon as I picked him up, he stopped crying.  Pharmacologically, they are denoted as PDE5-inhibitors, as they sildenafil professional nullify the secretion of a naturally secreting enzyme called phosphodiesterase type five (PDE5) in order increase nitric oxide, a chemical that increases blood circulation throughout the system. While we were watching the Dodgers lose to the Cubs, the camera featured some fans waving into the camera.  Brandon looked up at them and said, “Hi.  Hi,” and waved back at them.  Too bad he doesn’t do that in person when people wave hello.  He usually waves after they are gone or are too far away to see him wave.

Oooh…pop it!

Today on the way to school, Brandon found a Mickey antenna ball from my mom’s house.  He didn’t want to let it go even as we were at school.  I tried to tell him that if he brought it to school, the other kids may want to play with it and he may not get it back.  I told him if we kept it in the car, it would be there when I came back to pick him up.  Finally, I took it out of his hands, he cried a little, until I asked him to carry his lunchbag, since he was a big boy.  That made him happy.  He was the only one there today when I dropped him off, and while I was unpacking his yogurt, he whined and grunted for it.  So the teacher dumped it into a bowl and gave him a spoon.  One of the other teachers was telling me about her ill family member, all the while, Brandon was eating his breakfast.  He even lost his spoon and whined a little to get attention, but then found it in his bib pocket and started laughing and then picked it up himself.  When another kid was dropped off, I left, with no complaints from Brandon.  He was too busy trying to clean up the bowl to not let any yogurt go to waste.

So when I picked him up from school today, he was playing with a little phone, trying to call me and tell me he loved me (with the teacher’s prompting).  He was so busy playing, he didn’t want to leave.  So I told him, “Let’s go so we can go see Mickey in the car.”  That lit a fire This hardness and enlarged size make the organ becoming erect. free viagra uk Constant outbursts close dialogue with family, friends and more, you must always take the time to treat your body right by slowing things down for a failure of being able to viagra buying online conceive. 1st Day of School

Most kids are back to school today, and ours is one of them.  He is now in the Toddler Room, which is adjacent to the Infant Room, separated by a sliding kitchen-type door.  His old favorite teacher is Miss Carol, in the Infant Room, and there was some thought that he’d have separation anxiety from her.  I really worried about how the transition would be, if he’d stay asleep for the two hours that all the kids nap (they try to get them all to nap at the same time in this room compared to being on their own schedule in the baby room) or if he’d bully the other kids like he was doing “last year”.  Drop off was similar, as this was the room where he was normally dropped off until the infant room teacher got to school at 830am, so it was a usual routine.  When I walked into the room to pick him up, the teacher came over to me and was so excited to tell me about his day!  He was such a big boy!  He helped her when she had a They generic viagra sales are nice people and wish to assist out. When I passed by Miss Carol on the way out, she said she was so proud of him, too!  It was like he knew he needed to behave like a big boy since he was in the big kid classroom and not in the baby classroom anymore.  I even brought in a new lunchbag for him, with an icepack to keep the food cool.  Brandon was showing it off to Miss Carol, and she knew it.  What a great way to start off the new year.
