Trip Back

We left after breakfast and lunch were eaten.  Dave was trying to beat rush hour traffic, after the fight we had to get through traffic earlier in the trip.  We sailed through, and didn’t have problems.  He made a stop at the Capitol to get coffee.  Of course.  Here are the pictures we took at the Capitol building, another stop he wanted the kids to take part.

It was fun to watch her eyes bounce around with the images projected on the dome.  Dave was laughing at Brandon because he was singing the “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” but was a bit tone deaf.  We headed to Dave’s work to pick up some mail, and then headed to eat dinner closer to home.  We got the kids bathed and ready for bed before 8pm, a first in over one week!  Tomorrow, I will go to work, while the kids hang out with Dave.  We get our remaining shutters in the mail tomorrow, so Dave will put those in!  Our final Christmas present for the house 🙂
