But first, Dave uploaded his perspective of Peyton’s swim.
I left work early to get to Peyton’s ceremony. We were supposed to sit in the kids’ table spots, but the projector was in my way. I ended up schooching up to the front right behind the projector as S’s parents were already at the front door and not coming in all the way. The kids all had their mortar boards on, and Mrs. M was going to hand them their “diplomas”. I was able to get a photo or two while in the classroom. All the parents who helped out in the classroom received a thank you card from the class. It was signed by each kid. We then headed out to the field, but I wasn’t dressed appropriately, and enough parents were there to run the musical chairs. So, I came home for an hour and just relaxed 🙂 (which means, blog).
Yesterday, Peyton was playing with her other friend, Violet, the dog. She’s never really played with her too much, but after the karaoke with Violette and Daphne over the weekend, I think she’s gotten more of the singing bug. She doesn’t know I recorded this until she comes out of the room.
Peyton also presented Daddy with his Father’s Day present last night. I think her drawing nailed it 🙂
