The coach previously knew Brandon’s name and would say hi to him when he saw him. But he didn’t know Peyton until this season, when Dave said he was calling out to his girls, “Guard Peyton!” Maybe he’ll want to coach with Dave next year, but that honor goes to G’s dad. He’s the coach whose wife approached H’s mom to ask if H’s dad would be interested in coaching with her husband.
