Aladdin!

Today, I took Peyton to piano while I “sent” Brandon to band. Drama wasn’t meeting up until 5 pm, but he either sat with me for 45 minutes or just went to band. I picked him up at 345 pm, and we headed home to do homework and eat. We left by 440 pm, and then picked G up from her house. She brought treats for the kids – coconut pieces, salted plums and cadbury eggs (her Hawaiian relatives sent her some easter stuff). I told her, “Brandon looooves coconut!” Brandon asked her if she had water, and she said no. He said he was told to bring water. He told her he was nervous, seeing all the chairs set up in the multi. Both big kids got out of the car and ran to the multi, separately, while Peyton took her geriatric self to get out of the car. The big kids got to the multi before we even made it half way. Since they were inside, I turned around and got treats for tomorrow and flowers for him today. Peyton went to shower up at home, while Dave and I packed up our gear for the performance. We won the auction, so we had 2 seats to the front row. Peyton was told to go with friends, and she had no shortage! It was drama, the second generation – Hope, Violette, Karlee, and Peyton! It will be so much fun for all these kids to be in drama together, having “grown up” together. Peyton went to sit with Hope and her mom, and the other girls, while we set up shop in the front. We were SO close to the stage, as it was built out away from the main stage. The show started, and it was a great one! There were a few snags, and even one point, where it was super quiet. Suddenly, Brandon pops out of the wing! Ai-ya. Later, he told us the other guard was too embarrassed to go out, but Brandon said, “The show must go on”. Yay for his sometimes-ambivalence. He told us he didn’t hear the cue from the other line spoken by the other guard.

Notice his hands…! still…hopefully he’ll fix it by tomorrow.

Here are the pics. We saw G’s mom after, and she told the kids to come together for a pic.
