Telling it like it is…

Peyton is becoming quite vocal (still at home, not so much in person).  Dave was combing her hair, when it must have snagged her ear. She screamed out, “My ears, please!  Not my ears please!”  Yesterday, we were putting her shoes on in a hurry because we were headed out to the Farmer’s market.  I had found one of her socks on the floor from a prior trip out (she usually takes the shoes and socks off and dumps them down on the floor in the backseat).  I was looking around for the other sock, but I couldn’t find it.  In any case, we had new socks on her, and I was putting the shoe on.  Dave told me to just look for the other sock later on, since we had fresh socks on her.  She was complaining about the shoes being too tight.  I didn’t get it, since the shoes were relatively new, and she didn’t complain about them the day before.  Dave was rushing me, but Peyton was crying out.  Finally, I took her shoe off to see if there was something poking at her.  That’s when I found the other sock, tucked nicely away inside the shoe.  No wonder she was complaining!  I showed it to Dave, and both of them stopped complaining at me 🙂
This morning, Peyton watched as I put my work pants on.  She said, “Nice dammies (jammies), Mommy!”  I told her, “These are not jammies.”  She looked The cheap prices of this reputed drug added low price viagra a great value in its popularity. After seeing both Dave and I go potty in the morning, Peyton started pulling at her diaper, and said, “Take your diaper off, Honey!”  Dave asked me who talks like that.  I knew immediately – her teacher, Miss Jim!  She even sounded just like her when she said it!  I know she likes her teachers because she told me that in the car.  She said, “I like the teachers. I like Miss Dim (Jim).  I like Miss Kiss-tina.”  I’m so happy that she listens and likes her teachers.
Finally, yesterday, while we were walking back to the house from the park, Dave was rolling Brandon’s scooter, while Peyton rode along.  He was trying to get her to stay with both feet on the ledge while he pushed her along.  I told him he was setting a bad example for her since she wasn’t wearing a helmet.  In any case, she was happy to ride just like Brandon had been (Brandon can push it under his own power).  Then she started trying to do tricks!  She was jumping up and down like she was trying to do an ollie, but on a scooter.  She can barely jump on solid ground, let alone trying to jump up while on the scooter.  Crazy girl.  I fear many more trips to the emergency room in her future.
