Busy day

Today started out bright and early. We had a meeting with the school at 730am, but I had to take Peyton first. That mean waking up at 6am, getting Peyton out the door by 645am, and in the parking lot at school at 657am. And I wasn’t the only one in the parking lot. Sadly, another dad and his older daughter were also there. She was older and walked on her own, but I walked Peyton in, but there were no teachers available! I saw the chef (there are two of them) open up the gate, so I walked back to the kitchen to make it known I was looking for someone. When we are late, they charge us $15 for every 15 minute increment. Luckily, we’ve never had to pay, but that’s the fee. I have a mind to email the principal, since this is the second time this year that I’ve come to school on time and the teachers haven’t been there. Anyways, I waited 5 minutes, then gave Peyton a quick hug, then left. I felt so badly leaving her there so early. I drove back and was in front of Brandon’s school with about 5 minutes to spare. Dave was already there, having dropped Brandon off at CDC just moments earlier. I saw the principal enter the office, then the secretaries. Our meeting consisted of Brandon’s teacher, the student success facilitator, a 3rd grade teacher, the principal, both of us, and the special ed/resource person. cialis india discount donssite.com When does the problem begin? I went back to work, and arrived by 820am. Later, I drove back to my other work site for a pretty productive meeting, before heading back to where I started. It definitely made my day fly by, but I was exhausted. I wanted to pick Peyton up in a reasonable time, so I left about the same time I usually do. I’ll be working tomorrow after Peyton’s field trip, just to catch up a bit, since I’m covering a co-worker while she is on vacation. When the kids were going down, I headed out to the gym. Unfortunately, Peyton was still up, and continued to be until about 930pm. Ugh. Hopefully she is not a nightmare on her field trip. Tomorrow, I’ll be going to the volunteer breakfast at Brandon’s school while Dave drops Peyton off. After the breakfast, I’ll drive back to Peyton’s to go on their field trip. I wished I had a jetpack, or the schools were right next door to one another. Life will be easier when the kids are in the same zip code for school; however, that will mean the babies are all grown up 🙁
