Dave got to take a day off work to go volunteer. He was able to take both kids to school, then headed up to the food bank to do some manual labor. He was really enjoying, and he treated it like a game, to get things done as quickly and as efficiently as possible. He came home after his 5 hours of service, and then picked Brandon up for some baseball practice. Brandon is going to be playing on a tournament team this summer, so Dave’s getting him ready for that. It happens to be on the same weekend I’m planning a baby shower, so at least the boys will have something to do. Since it’s at our house, we may be able to go see a few games after the party is done.
