Owie!

Peyton came home and told me someone pinched her at cdc today.  I immediately looked up at Brandon. He shrugged.  Then Peyton said, “No, it wasn’t Brandon.”  I asked her who it was.  She told me M, a boy in kinder last year.  She looked like she was holding back tears, but she told me she cried at school.  She didn’t ask for help, but the teachers heard her crying.  I asked her what she was doing right before that happened. She stomped on a spider the kid was looking at and he came over to pinch her.  She had a bandage over her leg, but later she showed me.  It was a bruise!! I wasn’t given an ouchie report but I reminded Peyton to use her words and tell someone.  She said she did, but I think it was after they asked her.

Good thing she has strong leg muscles 😝

We harvested the bell pepper in the backyard today. There were only three sadly but Brandon ate two and offered Peyton one.  He didn’t want her to have it really saying she doesn’t like them.  But after she ate it, she said she did like them!! She also enjoyed the squash we grew.  She said it tasted like sweet potatoes.  We’re still getting tomatoes from the garden too which has been nice.
