Today, Brandon told me T (boy) pushed T2 (girl) off the stage at drama practice. I asked Brandon if T likes T2. They’re in the same class as Brandon and they’re all in drama together. Brandon said, “Yes, how’d you know?” Just a hunch. Then I asked who Ca likes. He told me A. Then I asked about one of the girls who I knew, who she liked. He answered, “Ty.” They all had someone! They’re fourth graders!! I asked if the feeling was mutual among the pairs, and then it got a bit more quiet. He didn’t quite know. But with the one girl that i happened to ask, her BFF is G. So G told Brandon about her crush. Meanwhile, today, Brandon wore his new shirt, “Basektball is my girlfriend.” He got acknowledgment from his teacher about it as well as a few of his friends who wanted the same shirt. It’s going to get real interesting when they all start swapping interests! We’ll see.
